I quite like the look of the gameplay. It grew on me in that video. :)

It looks better than expected but still way too stiff and rigid, especially the frozen Kamehameha stance and lifeless beam.

I thought that too, hopefully they'll be able to work on some of that stuff. :)

I don't think the gameplay looks too deep to be honest and the camera looks like it's gonna be a problem. Hopefully the gameplay has a little more depth in the 1 vs 1 fights. I can't say I'm too impressed so far, and that had better change because I'm not accepting another half assed DBZ game.

Why are they so insistent on using that terrible over the shoulder, 3D camera style of gameplay. They're fighting games, keep it classic. The Budokai games are the most popular for a reason - they're timeless. It's the same reason Street Fighter is so popular. Give us a solid story mode, a huge roster of characters and some interesting gameplay mechanics and people will be sold.

Maybe I'm just bitter that they moved away from that classic style of play and relegated it to the DS in the form of Ultimate Butouden. I just much prefer my fighters in a 2D plane.

On the plus side, the music sounds great.

Meh, I'm a fan of both styles to be honest. Although, if I had to choose, I would probably go for the Budokai style as well. Burst Limit made a great case for how fast and fun the Budokai style could be in HD and they only scratched the surface. I really wanted and still want a Burst Limit 2.

I am still upset by this and am praying some kind of successor appears in the next year or two. If not, then I'm going back to my Budokai 3 for another year.

I'm about done with the DBZ games as it is. I've played all the ones I have to death and if this one isn't good, I'm gonna have to drop the game franchise because I'm really tired of playing half assed or the same crap.

Gameplay looks fun. I wasn't expecting anything complex. Also, LOVING that Kikuchi BGM.

I don't know if you can see them in this demo, but there are wavy barrier things, yeah.

The gameplay isn't as solid as I expected but it looks a lot of fun and that Kikuchi music = SOLD!

Yep, they're kind of invisible though (15:38). They're kind of jelly-ish.

If the european version doesn't have the Kikuchi soundtrack that they showed in this demo (even if it is from the japanese version) I will be pissed.

Oh, Artdink. Let's hope it won't be the same repetitive shit like with their Gundam series! But you know, Gundam had fanservice of 300+ mechas :D

Don't wanna ruin our hopes, but artdink is like Spike 2.0 from what I've played from this studio. But! At least, they have always top notch graphic presentation.

It's been confirmed that you guys have it. I just hope we Americans get it.

There's still a lot of time for improvement but I'm guessing what we've seen is more or less the final product, with some slight changes.

I hope that they improve the Kame-Hame-Ha wave because it looks crappy and also it finished a little too fast, I don't remember ever going away that quickly (except Instant Transmission Kame-Hame-Ha).

Nostal commented this one hour ago:
I do, I've even have been pretty rude with their community manager. Don't forget that I'm still pushing the DBRB3 project so it can be made one day. I just can't make a giant company move all on my own, the fans need to mobilize.

With Spike out of the picture I hope it kills any chance of Raging Blast 3 ever exist. We've had too many bloody games of the same, now we're getting a new one and let's just stick to that.

I still want a Raging Blast 3. I like the sparking gameplay style, I just want a character creator and BoG characters added to it. This game looks neat and all but it doesn't look too great so far.
