If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? Nice, did you get the original volumes, or the remix reprints? The originals are the only ones with the fold-out posters, right?

Volume 17 of the Kanzenban. After failing to do a proper check of my collection and missing the fact that I already had that one. So I now have two copies of Kanzenban volume 17.
Ah well. Off to the nearest second-hand book-store it is then.

I also pre-ordered the limited edition Battle of Gods BluRay a while back. Obviously I haven't received it yet, but... Yeah. There's that.

Bought a few pieces off of Raithos! Came in yesterday and added them to the collection. Not sure what I've bought since the last time I posted on here so I'm just posting a couple pics of my whole collection. (For those that don't remember me, it's all Vegeta!)

Re: CODii

Nice haul! I love it when people post pics rather than just naming what they got.

I recently got a blanket myself:

"You might think you know everything there is to know about me, but really, you're not even CLOSE."

"Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." ~ Sir Winston Chruchill / Dragon Ball Z in a nutshell

How I enjoy the anime:

My Rock the Dragon edition turned up. I was planning on doing an extensive comparison between this and the Dragon Boxes but I'm unsure if it's been covered before. If anyone knows, that'd be great if you could let me know!

...and picked up this. Along with a bunch of other stuff which is not Dragon Ball related, because seriously, the amount of stuff available in that store was utterly insane. Now admittedly, I'm sure much of it was second-hand, but... they had practically everything.
So I went to this store again and picked up the thing I truly wanted the most the first time I went there, but which I held back on buying at the time because of how pricey it was... But really. My inner fanboy would NEVER forgive me if I let someone else walk away with this!

And this was not the only Dragon Box they had either. In fact, the only one they didn't have was the one for the first Dragon Ball series... which ironically was the one I wanted the most. So my options were the two Z-boxes (not too tempting as I already have FUNi's Dragon Boxes which really, are only slightly lower quality), GT (which is GT) and the movies... The GT-box was actually the cheapest, but I opted for the movies instead due to how they supposedly have by far the best sound-quality and all...

Aw, man, wish I could find some anime shop that just happens to have the Dragon Boxes like that.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

I would piss my pants if I saw a Dragon Box 2 in a store somewhere for it's MSRP.

Yeah, my jaw quite literally dropped when I first went there and saw those... You may also note that the picture is named "I LOVE being in Japan.JPG"... And this store isn't even the only store where I've found second-hand Dragon Boxes. In fact, the last time I was in Tokyo I actually did see the one for regular old Dragon Ball in a Book-Off store too... For like 25 thousand yen, hence why I didn't snatch it in a heartbeat right there and then.
