Should have already been over after the first attack. Then again their logic is SSJ Vegetto does a weaker Kamehameha then SSJ3 Goku.

You do realize it is possible for him to exert less energy than Goku if he wanted to, right? Vegito is not so overwhelminly 'godly' that he's incapable of shooting a weaker blast than his maximum if he wanted to. He could be enjoying toying with this form of Boo still for all we know.

Normally if someone is toying with someone they have a smile on their fast. Vegetto looks concern. I get the whole Planet Buster. But Vegetto is smart. As soon as he stop the Planet buster he should had killed Boo. He knows what Boo can do. Afetr all he got both Goku and Vegeta in him.

The fact that he's made of both Goku and Vegeta is exactly why I can see him toying with Boo though, regardless of how dangerous he is. Hell, he's close enough to Boo right now that it's not like Boo can do anything to attack the planet anymore...so why not toy with him.

Cause he can regenerate is the only good reason to toy with him. Telling by Vegetto's face. He's NOT toying with him

Maybe he doesn't want to kill Buu right-right away. He'd still want to observe Buu a little bit

There is no point in toying with him. He is much weaker than Boohan. What is the point. It's like bullying an ant. What is the point. He already made the most powerful villain (before Birus) his bitch. None of his family are at risk so he can kill him now. He can't get any challenge or anything from Kid Boo. There is no point in dragging this out. Why bother with a weakling. What does Vegetto get out of this. What is the point of not killing him right away when he can't satisfy Vegetto in any way. It's just bad plot shielding that keeps Kid Boo alive so they can drag this out longer than it actually would be.

I think it's over for Boo now, since Vegetto's kiai is shown to be able to kill Boo in both manga and DBM.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Freeza toying with Goku was adding the whole Goku's will, desperation, and limit.
Freeza toying with Vegeta. To made Vegeta pride damaged.
Gohan oying with Cell - Kinda obvious
Vegetto toying with Boohan - Obvious.

So just in case someone says in happened before. Here's an explanation. Vegetto got NO REASON to toy. His face is NOTHING compared to his toying around face.

Okay, perhaps 'toying' is the wrong word I'll admit, looking over his face again as you said. The fact remains though that Vegito, powerful as he is, is still capable of firing blasts that aren't at his maximum, and that Kamehameha he fired didn't look like he was straining in the least bit, so it's still just as possible that he simply didn't want to kill Boo in one shot.

I'm seriously beginning to think I'm the only one that doesn't fall to the ground and kiss the fictional ground that Vegito walks on just because he's Vegito...

Hell his facial reactions show he wants to end this quickly, and yet for some reason he doesn't. Vegetto gets nothing out of letting Kid Boo live longer. No satisfaction.

I'm not even one of those guys who says Vegetto is infinite or Chuck Norris. There is such a ridiculous gap between Kid Boo and SSJ Vegetto that it's not even funny. The reason for him not wiping out Kid Boo instantly with such an insane gap is ludicrous.

It would probably go down like this

*One Shot*

Vegetto: Strange how he turned into a Kid, but he got weaker and wasn't a challenge.

So what is it about the Kiai that makes Vegetto able to kill Buu? Aren't "kiai's" just them using an invisible ki force to push an enemy back?

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke

Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

It really is. The post action reaction shots look Oda-esque! In-action shots look just as good. Great art on this page.
