After seeing how Multiverse handled Broly, I've been skeptical on how other characters would be handled.

On a side note I remember a fan drawn image of Multiverse showing GT and AF characters not being allowed to enter. Wish I could find it again.

Every time someone mentions the novel it sounds like a very, very, VERY poorly written fanficiton.
Honestly, I didn't think it was so bad. It had it's moments of clunky dialogue and the like, but I found it gripping. Course, I skipped everything not relating to Vegito picking either one, because I really wanted to know how he came to his conclusion.

While Chi Chi's reasoning was fine, I don't see Chi Chi saying this at all. I'd expect her to freak out at Goku's shenanigans and then say you're not my Goku or something like that. She already has trouble accepting the blonde hair for Pete's sake.

But he's not her Goku. Add that to the reasoning she explained, and its seems perfectly logical.

Chi Chi prefers Gohan to study rather than go save the world. She thinks Super Saiyan is a punk hairdo. She faints everytime Goku or Gohan is hurt or whatever. She is NOT a perfectly logical character.

That's the problem. Chi Chi doesn't seem like the logical type. She freaks out over some of the smallest things, I'm surprised she didn't blow a gasket here.

Does that mean that she can't make a perfectly logical decision regarding wanting Vegetto (not Goku) around as a husband...? And when has she ever freaked out over Goku? She only does it over Gohan.

In the manga, she doesn't freak out nearly as much, and when she does freak out, its always about Gohan and only Gohan. She only tries to protect Gohan and give a normal life. She has never freak out over Goku himself going off to fight bad guys or not being there. So, why would she freak out over Vegetto, who isn't really her lost husband...? She considered it for a moment, but she quickly realized that she was okay with Vegetto (who is not Goku) not acting as a husband for her.

Chi-Chi has had 7 years to reconcile with Goku not being with her. This seems like a perfectly logical decision to me. I don't really see how it's out of character.

Also, regarding the anime, Chichi chilled the fuck out by the time the Buu saga rolled in. This page seems very much in character for her.
