Has anyone mixed Yamamoto with dub dialogue?

Post by Fizzer » Mon Sep 16, 2013 7:08 pm

I've heard before that the audio on the Kai DVDs has music on a different track to dialogue and sound effects. Has anyone edited together the Yamamoto music with the dub? Or has anyone at least added the whole audio track of Yamamoto with Japanese to DVD footage with Funimation's subs or something?

The first 4 parts of Kai contain Yamamoto while parts 5 - 8 contain Kikuchi.

As for re-adding Yamamoto to the dub, it's been done by fans before. I think probably even the whole show.

Do you know where I can watch, preferably download, something like that? I already own seasons 1-4 and parts 1-4, so I'm only interested in downloading for the sake of the original music.

The source where I got mine from died a long time ago, so no, I don't know anywhere.

I know for a fact that it's on Youtube. In fact you might want to contact TheWhiz93 and HipsturrAnime. They downloaded it and have it. They will tell you.

Only ever bothered to mux the Yamamoto Japanese TV audio to my Blu-Rays. I imagine someone out there has done the same for the dub.

Not entirely sure this type of thing is legal as it's distribution of copyrighted materials so may want to take it to PMs.

Yep, FUNimation Kai dub fans have done it but unfortunately they used shitty low quality MP3 tracks which does not sound good, however, there might be one out of all that used the CD quality tracks.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray
