Re: Favorite Faulconer track?
Scott, do you have a rough count or a rough time-frame of episodes you worked on?
A YouTube channel with no AMVs on it? I know, it's hard to believe.

Re: Favorite Faulconer track?
I never counted them because it wasn't consistent. There were plenty of episodes during my tenure that I didn't touch, and were done by say for example Mike and Ben completely...but then again they might have used something I wrote or performed on in those shows...so it gets confusing.Roland_ELoG wrote:Scott, do you have a rough count or a rough time-frame of episodes you worked on?
My time frame though is #78-#195 ("Frieza Fighting Power One Million?" through "Warriors of the Dead"). But of course my influence continued past 195 since I had just finished writing the Grand Kai and Pikkon themes, and of course my work was reused sparsely in later episodes.
Episode #93 was the first show I ever wrote anything for (Keep the Chance Alive). It was pretty awesome to get to kick off my writing career with the Spirit Bomb music at the beginning of that show Before that I only did editing.
The Garlic Jr Saga(specifically in #111) is the first time you hear me play real guitar in the show(Gohan Fights Frieza, Dead Zone, Makyo Star)
Ugh. just rewatched Grand Kai's entrance in 195....I hate the "jambox" processing Funimation put on the Grand Kai Rocks track =(

I don't think we even had a copy of the messed up version. Hmm..unless Mike mixed that one lol. I'm forgetting when that switch happened...either on or after the Garlic Jr series, Mike stopped doing the whole mix(meaning dialogue, music, and sfx) and it got turned over to Evan Jones at Funimation.

Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

It's hard to tell watching the scene because it's kind of muted in the background. Sounded to me like they were the same.cRookie_Monster wrote:No the CD version is fine.Roland_ELoG wrote:Lo-fidelity. Even kept the effect for the CD soundtrack version huh.cRookie_Monster wrote:

I guess that's why you're the professional.

Re: Favorite Faulconer track?
I'd quote you guys, but my cell lacks a copy n' paste feature. ^^; Anyway, at least they took out that filter on the remastered version. Here's the original Funimation single dvd version along with the remastered version for comparison.

I primarily rip and upload unreleased Faulconer Productions music, as well as some other American dub music.

Ah, thanks! Good comparison.
I didn't think to check the singles. It seems like a weird thing to change, but the remastered sets do a lot of weird stuff.

Ahaha, oh well. One version is trashed, the other is barely audible ^^
Dialogue is king! (even when it's grunting over dance moves)

Seems like a case of careless audio leveling.

Does the opening music count? I totally nostalgia over that whenever I hear it.

Oh yeah, I can't believe that I always forget about "Ox King Consoles", such an underrated Faulconer Prod. track. Another one of my faves.

I also like the theme that plays when Krillin fires a Kamehameha at Garlic Jr. then directs it behind him. A little Krillin jingle. Can't find the song though.
Re: Favorite Faulconer track?
I like all the ones in the Buu arc, actually.

It's pretty hard to choose, really. Dragon Ball Z has many Faulconer soundtracks I like. Either way, it's between one of these three:
