Shonen Jump's Most Popular Dragonball Z Character

I dont know if any of you saw it but in the October 2003 issue of Shonen Jump they showed who the fan's picked as the most popular DBZ character and the winner was Vegeta. He had 5,503 votes. Second was Goku with 5,225 votes. And the rest where as follows:

#3: Gohan
#4: Trunks
#5: Piccolo
#6: Kuririn
#7: Bulma
#8: Goten
#9: Yamcha
#10: Buu

I haven't read the issue yet, but its ironic how the ain character isn't even on that list.

lol, yeah I remember that issue. The editor makes a smart-assed comment about how a evil mass murderer became the favourite DBZ character...isn't it the truth though?

You know what? It's probably all those crazy fangirls that always go for the dangerous guy. Fangirl-"Vegita's so cool! No he's not bad, you just don't understand him deep down! I love his bad attitude, it's better than Goku whose a goody-goody! Why do they have to have so many scenes of Goku? It takes away time from Vegita-sama! Oh, ya and Bulma's a tramp and a b**ch!" Ah yes, I've met some really crazy ones in my time as you can see.

Ya, Buruma's a lot more forgiving than I would be. I know Vegita comes full circle in the end, but at the time Buruma got with him, he hadn't changed much. I mean, okay maybe you might feel some attraction to the guy, but as you said Dayspring, he's committed genocide who knows how many times on a grand scale. He beat Gohan, a kid till he was black and blue right in front of you. Geez! Would you want to go with someone who beats kids? Even if the particular one was as strong as you is beside the point.
