Yeah, much better.

Also, Victory Mission seems to be hinting at a new Jaaku Mission "Class-up" for the Avatars with Beat's change of clothing there. So, if it's not just something Victory Mission exclusive, next set may introduce new outfits for all of them, and maybe Super Saiyan 3 for the Saiyans (since we got Super Saiyan 2 with the GM Class-up).

EDIT: The Majin Berserker seems to be named Salaga (Saraga / サラガ) from the Cinderella chant: Salagadoola mechicka boola bibbidi-bobbidi-boo.

Now THAT's a Super Saiyan 2 Bardock. Give him the same red sparks from the card and it works.

On a slight side-note? Are there any plans for a tankoubon release of Toyble's Heroes manga? Also, what's the pun on Nimu? I didn't get it :?

Thank God they have brought Toyble on this. A knowledgeable fan of the series is very good to have here.

Nothing yet, but I hope we'll see something. I'm not a fan of the "heroes of the Dragon World just being cards at this point" approach, but it's also the only place we'll probably see some of these characters in manga form.

As for the pun, I asked our webmasters about the source of the puns for most the new characters in Heroes (and their choice of spellings for them), but I never got a response. Like three times now. So I've just been doing the best I can on my own, and that doesn't include knowing what Nimu (or Nym as of Kanzenshuu's latest Victory Mission summary) means...

After Dragon Ball SD getting one, I'm just surprised Heroes hasn't yet. Even though Heroes started as a "guide"-ish thing to show off the game's features and characters, at least it's developing into a new card battle story with characters we know. Dragon Ball SD is basically just a guide to the original series

Huh. Thanks anyway. Maybe some in-game feature, like with Dr. Auto, that uses some english word with "nym" or "nim"?

The whole manga is 98 pages so far, plus 1 page from the BoG crossover, and 5 more pages from the extra chapter in Saikyo Jump. Isn't that too small for a Tankoubon release?

Yeah, that's probably the biggest part of for now, is Victory Mission's irregular page count. Though, we actually just hit around 120 pages and most volumes are around 200...
106 from my count of the regular chapters, 1 from Battle of Gods, like 5 from the Saikyo Jump Away Mission, and like 10 from the special Birth of GT Gotenks.

That few? Then that's probably why they haven't yet :P

Forgot to count chapter 17, so after counting again, I got 107. And wait, we have a Gotenks special?! When did that happen again?

And after checking the latest chapter, it seems that San Xing Long is the next Evil Dragon. Not announced yet, right?

107...? Don't tell me I'm missing a page.

Yeah. It was part of that V-Jump send away thing to get the SS4 Goku, Goten and Trunks promos that allowed you to access GT Gotenks before anyone else. It's where the evil, Shadow Goku we had been talking about came from...

Seems that way. Very likely, but I'm not going to set it as a fact.

Hope has been restored. Thank you Toyble for doing what the character designers could not.

Seriously, why not let Toyble do the character designs? That manga page clearly shows he knows what to do here.

No, there haven't been proper scans of either of the larger specials. The Saikyo Jump special is only available as photos of the pages, and the Gotenks special was a below mediocre quality Youtube video.

Judging from the new clothes, and the last panel of Beat (I think I can see black hair) I'm going to guess we're getting "Ultimate" for the avatars.

The GT Gotenks Special has Beat tapping into Super Saiyan 3 to break free of the Black Smoke Dragon's restraints. In the Victory Mission chapter, Beat uses a capsule (I'm guessing to "Class-up") and changes his clothes. He hadn't transformed at all in the battle yet though, so he still seems to be in base.

Do you have the link to that video? I was wondering where that "tapping into ss3" part was from because I couldn't find it in the pages I had.

Also, I really like the collection of cards you are maintaining, but, what about the Avatar licences? Are there scans for them? or a list of how many there are? I think it's one for each set, but I'm not sure.

Nope. It wasn't worth watching more than that one time, so I just let it slip into the void of Youtube. The only image of SS3 being tapped has been posted before though. notice the lack of eyebrows behind him:
Image

Can't do anything about it. The site doesn't post up regular scans of the avatar licenses. I could grab some of them from old images that were posted on the site and crop them out, but I've got no plans to do so for the sake of consistency. There used to be one for each set, but now I think it's just one for each starter pack, and I don't remember how often they are released anymore since it's been a while since the last avatar addition.

Actually wait, I counted again, and I get 114 (if I count correctly):
And my page count fits perfectly with the page count according to the Kanzenshuu after checking.

Oh yeah! Never realized it was a special chapter, I thought it was the next new chapter, but then I forgot about it. :P Strange, Kanzenshuu hasn't mention it, right?

But wait, which issue was that?

Ooh, okay then. I knew about the tapping into Super Saiyan 3 before, I just thought Beat was obscured here because he was supposed to already be in a new form. Especially with his eyes blocked. But with the full context, it makes it more likely to me that it will be Super Saiyan 3.
