Maybe if they used some titles that were more popular, like a Super Dragonball Z or Battle Stadium D.O.N, that showcases popular characters then the Xbox 360 might do better. Its a different market over there so you have to adjust to the customers.

I seriously doubt it. Sagas was only released on the Xbox due to its American development. I kinda think Deus is right in that the Japanese have some problem with the Xbox and the 360. Each 3D Dragon Ball Z game released moves a step forward to the line between recreating the best DBZ fights ever, and some of your fantasy battles as well.

Now, if the developers could ever direct their energy towards Dragon Ball, hmmm.....

I don't think Bandai would be too interested in doing a conversion for a console that is doing badly on their home territory. First of all they think about what DIRECT profit it would bring to them. And that is of course via japanese sales. So I don't see it happening really.

Cel-Shading was mentioned earlier in the thread, and I would like to say this: DBZ with Advent Children graphics is my dream! How the will get the hair, I don't know.

We'll never get a DBZ game with Advent Children graphics. Ever. Although I'd like to see at least 1 game with realistic looking Son Gokuu and the gang, it'll never happen.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

If you want realistic DB, just watch The Magic Begins!

Maybe it could be like Street Fighter: The Movie and the game that came out for it. :D

I'm just waiting to see what cel shading will look like on the next-gen consoles. If/when a PS3 Budokai game is released (I very much doubt that a 360 dbz game will be released), I hope that it could look so much like the show that you can't tell if you are watching the show or playing the game, however that would probably be too complex to pull off.

Being an Xbox man, I was at least hoping for Super Dragon Ball Z to appear on it, but alas, Microsoft slipped up twice in promoting the console in Japan and the only two games that Japan plays are Halo and Halo 2, and Halo 3 is only going to save the Xbox 360 in Japan, in what, 2008?

Back on topic, I'd like to see a game that is combination of Budokai 3 and Super DBZ appear on the 360, or at least something that hasn't been done before a la Shin Budokai. Perhaps a pretty damn big RPG that starts with Bardock and ends with Goku Jr fighting with Vegeta Jr?

I could picture it now. Maybe along the lines of Chrono Trigger/Cross. Only on a much larger scale spanning the entire pre-DB saga (Bradock era) to the final fight between Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. Throw in a lot of the movie bosses (by trying to find a way make their stories fit) and it might just work...oh yes...it just might work. :D
