They don't even know about body swapping. And it's not hard to dodge if you're not a moron.
No, this is an awful plan, both because Freeza can carry around the balls with him and because he's waaaaaaay faster than them and can kill them with a glare.

Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

I'm saying IF Goku arrives. Then that would happen. Also I don't think the beam can be seen. As most people are either shocked or have to be warned that a beam is coming. You can only tell by the pose.RandomGuy96 wrote:They don't even know about body swapping. And it's not hard to dodge if you're not a moron.

I feel like someone doesn't know what "omnipresent" means.

Is omnipresent the right word? Was that a translation error.

Between "omnipresent" and "vessel", I can't shake the feeling of it being auto-translated

Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.

Omnipresent could mean it is so vast that it feels like it's all around them.

Because it's fitting for Nail to have a sophisticated vocabulary; however in this case it's debatable whether or not it's erroneous.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
"Vessel" is most probably an effect of the French "vaisseau" used on this page to mean "spaceship". But "omnipresent" is what Salagir intented - the very same word exists in French, with the same connotations so he chose it in a conscious way.TrunksTrevelyan0064 wrote:Between "omnipresent" and "vessel", I can't shake the feeling of it being auto-translated
Also the pages are never "auto-translated". The English text is written by Salagir (so a real human being, only with an imperfect command of English) and sometimes they are corrected by English native speakers - a nd sometimes they aren't.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Freeza can one-shot Nail and carry the balls around at all times with telekinesis. This plan is going to fail.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
We kinda knew from the beginning that it was going to fail, since...this is the Freeza universe if I recall. And they shouldn't know anything about Freeza's telekinesis in the first place since they haven't exactly run into him yet. They also won't have any idea just how overwhelmingly stronger than them he is.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I bet Nail will say something like "I know where the Dragonball is" or something so Freeza doesn't kill him instantly.

It's the same word in French. So basically Saligir doesn't know what "omniprésent" means even in French.TheGmGoken wrote:Is omnipresent the right word? Was that a translation error.

Omnipresent(for those who don't know) means everywhere. Used a lot in religion. Freeza power is everywhereMarco Polo wrote:It's the same word in French. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
That word actually isn't so terrible if you look at it from a religious perspective. Many monotheistic religions look at God as an omnipresent force. I think the word here means, basically, his power is so extensive it's awe-inspiring/shocking/etc.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
True. I think my point still stands. What else could be in your frame of reference if you'd never felt power like that before?
let's just ignore that the interact with Earth's God on a regular basis for this one

1. It's Salagir.TheGmGoken wrote: Yea Saligir should most likely used a dictionary for that line.
2. Don't judge others by your standards. Omnipresent isn't such an uncommon word for an educated person to need to consult a dictionary in order to use it in a text.
3. What's the problem with Freeza's power being everywhere? It's so huge that they feel surrounded by it.
