This must be from 1986/1987, since it looks like the first movie was screening in theatres when this was taken.

It would have to be after the second half of '86 because that's Jason Newsted in that picture, and Cliff Burton died in September of '96

Cliff Burton died in 1986 actually and Jason joined in either late '86 or early '87, I can't remember.
