Haven't seen the scene but I'm 99% sure it's Vegeta telling Beerus.
Canon is Jaco, Dragon Ball except for EoZ, Dragon Ball Super anime and manga (both are separate canons)

Yeah, it was a typo it now correctly reads Vegeta telling Beerus.

Me four, I guess. XD

I got done watching it, and wow...the new scenes really improved the movie. I don't think I can ever go back to the original cut. Hope FUNi gets this one.
