Since when is Movie 12 SSj3 Goku as strong as in Battle of Gods and why is Gogeta then similiar to Beerus in power?

So... when can we expect an update about the new movie? I don't want to come back and read more speculations and meaningless hypothetical versus battles (you can just go over to the ridiculous versus thread in "In-Universe" sub-forum to have these types of discussions where they belong.)

Perhaps you're the one who's on something as it implies absolutely nothing about how he compares to Beerus in terms of power. He whooped someone who whooped SSJ3 Goku. Who cares. Gohan whooped someone who could whoop SSJ3 Goku. Does that mean it implies Gohan can compare to Beerus? No. Now get this nonsense out of here.

Re: When will there be an update

Because of there being an extra two months compared to BOG, I can't match them up exactly, but I've been keeping an eye on:

-Wednesdays: this is when Weekly Jump spoilers pop up due to there being places in Japan that put out the following Monday edition early; if there's a new article/ad related to DB15 in Weekly Jump, it'll most likely appear on a Wednesday
-Jump Festa's official page (though they're still setting up for their 2015 edition) you can find them here: http://www.jumpfesta.com/top.html
I recall them having BOG-related preview stuff there.
-2ch threads (the one I occasionally check in on for DB15 is here http://anago.2ch.net/test/read.cgi/moeplus/1405753335/ though most of it atm is also just speculation. Warning though, after they hit 1000 posts, they create a new thread and delete the old one within 24 hours, but typically link to the new one at the end of the old one).
-The "page info" function on http://dragonball2015.com/ tells you when changes were last made to the site. Nothing new there since July 24th as of this typing though.
-VJump; the magazine comes out the 21st of the month (normally). Shops tend to be better with VJump than Weekly Jump in regards to not breaking street dates. Usually won't be until several days after the release date for VJump when new movie-related stuff appears online.
On hiatus.

For what it's worth, Julian's usually able to buy Saikyo Jump and V-Jump the day before street date from one of the vendors on his way to work. If there's that major of news, we'll have it up right away.

I hope so, I never liked 02. Found it incredibly boring and story was just so uncreative. If anything I wish Digimon adventure 01 got a reboot instead. Its story worse than 02'a for the most part could be fixed up I always believed. I wish Tamers was the franchise's core image, it was just too good to be a side story. Its concepts so much better than the others, so much potential wasted.

If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.

So do I. It gets a lot of hate, and there are certainly some noticeable continuity problems, but I think it's a lot of fun and I know I had more fun on my rewatch than I did with the original Adventure - which I almost didn't bother finishing.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Yeah, when I rewatched the original I only really liked the arc when they were back in the real world.

Toei has been awfully quiet about the movie.

There is nothing to say. The film probably hasn't even entered animation production, given the last we heard Toriyama was still writing.

They already had time to do a teaser trailer, and unlike BoG's, this one appears to be related to the movie itself.

An unimpressive teaser that could be whipped up in a few days without anything to do with the film. There's nothing to suggest the teaser had anything to do with the plot of the movie.

I mean surely SSJ2 Vegeto would be able to take Beers.
Or maybe SSJ3 if he did it quick.

I doubt Vegetto or Gogeta could even get close to Beerus.
From what little fusion reborn gave us Gogeta seems to be in roughly the same league as Beerus, not to mention the fact that neither of them have ever been shown at 100%. Even if Gogeta couldn't seal the deal it would at least be close enough to be entertaining.
Dude even if Gojita was Ssj3 he can't defeat Birus, because it's a different ki/Powers.

You mean God Ki? God Ki is completely inconsistent and a plot hole in itself. Disregard it.

God Ki isn't inconsistent at all, even if the Kaioshins and Kaios are not strong(I'm sure that You are refering to them). They are Gods of Creation, so they do not possess Godly Destructive Power.

Kaioshin and Kaio-sama sensed Beerus' Ki. Beerus has God Ki and if they sensed it when Goku couldn't, that means they also have God Ki. And if they also have God Ki, then Goku shouldn't have been able to use Shunkan Idou to teleport himself and Cell to Kaio-sama's planet.

He could have locked on to Bubbles.

Additionally, if we're going with Goku being able to teleport around short-range locations (as he does in Battle of Gods), perhaps by the Cell arc he's already honed the technique down to "general location" without having to lock on to a specific person's energy signature. He does say something like, "This is the only place I could think of."

I'm still not sure any of this has anything at all to do with the barely-announced 2015 movie, however, and I'm going to continue to request that the conversation be kept as on-topic and concise as humanly possible.

Goku stated in the Buu arc it was difficult to trace a Ki as faint as Bulma's. I doubt Bubbles' Ki is much higher for him to be able to trace it in that short amount of time.

Well, for what it's worth, Bubbles seems to cope with the higher gravity on Kaio's planet just fine, something that I don't really think Bulma could do, so...there is that.
