I'm looking forward to this fight.

Typical Vegeta being Tsundere- "I-it's not like I LIKED piloting your ship, s-stupid namek!"
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse

Hm, that`s strange, Cold from Universe 8 (The one where Freeza wins) doesn't seem to have problem with his true form, and from what we learnt, U8 Cold family didn't trained at all, so why this Cold have trouble?

I assume the Cold we've seen in the tournament trained in secret or something, since even Freeza and Cooler seemed surprised by how well he managed to control himself.

Yeah, didn't Cooler say that the last time he saw Cold in that form, the planet he was on exploded or something?Gyt Kaliba wrote:I assume the Cold we've seen in the tournament trained in secret or something, since even Freeza and Cooler seemed surprised by how well he managed to control himself.

Yes, Cooler did say that:Kamiccolo9 wrote:Yeah, didn't Cooler say that the last time he saw Cold in that form, the planet he was on exploded or something?Gyt Kaliba wrote:I assume the Cold we've seen in the tournament trained in secret or something, since even Freeza and Cooler seemed surprised by how well he managed to control himself.

And a relevant portion of the DBM fanfic:
Source. But for Cold, his father, to master his original form? What bad news! He had not been able to stay in this form for hundreds of years without destroying everything around him. This was a fact that Coola, and only Coola, could bear testament to: the horrifying, uncontrollable power. When Cold had Freeza in his stomach, he reduced the empty planet chosen for delivery to what looked to be a military testing ground. Craters, new volcanoes, and oceanic faults were created daily.
And now he was wearing this form as if it was nothing! He had trained in secret to get there. The fiend!

Either that or Gast is trying to mind-rape him.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Thank you, that make sense now. Btw, when i look at Gogeta Jr. artwork, I'm sorry if i sound rude, but, some of faces he made, look really ugly in my opinion, like Old Kaioshin in last part, also, his Freeza always look very strangely drawn.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
So I guess Cooler was the smartest of the three, considering how he worked out a way to go BEYOND his original form.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Gogeta Jr gave up for a reason. In the last couple of years of DBM, the quality of his art was declining due to overworking and (presumably) decreasing interest. They even changed the setting of the tournament to daytime instead of night because drawing the starry sky was too much extra work. In the early years of DBM Gogeta Jr's art was amazing. You can really tell the difference.coola wrote:Thank you, that make sense now. As usual, criticism towards this fan manga comes way too naturally.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Man, Cold looks incredible.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
An honest mistake was made and admitted to. There's no need to try and spin that as being telling of the criticize this manga receives as a whole.rereboy wrote:As usual, criticism towards this fan manga comes way too naturally.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The thing is that it is telling. DBM gets harshly criticized many times by power-level/power-scaling afficionados - sometimes rightly but most of the time it stems from hearsay. A prime example is that it has become common knowledge by now that "Salagir has nerfed Freeza because he believed in a mistranslated edition of the manga". Only he didn't - in DBM Freeza's powerlevel is stated to be the same as in the manga and the only place where Salagir has addressed this French typo was on his website where he put an info saying "I know it's wrong but let's for a moment assume it could be right and downscale all the Freeza saga powerlevels accordingly".Saiga wrote:An honest mistake was made and admitted to. I can easily see someone in this thread (some 40 pages from now) complaining (as it is so often the case here): "DBM's powerlevels are crap: do you remember that time when a kid survived a blast from King Cold?" because they remembered only the fact that it seemed so wrong and then they didn't bother to check whether they remember correctly. It's actually the same thing as with Brolly being the focus of this story...
And now for something completely different: the DBM facebook page has posted an announcement:
Maybe someone will be interested.Dear DBM readers, this is an important message.
To continue our webcomic Dragon Ball Multiverse as long as posible, we need that good drawers join us. A "good" drawer is a drawer who can draws comics, or mangas, without problem, and withou copy the manga or anime dbz.
You will draw a special chapter (24 pages), about an univers you like. And you'll propose your ideas to Salagir for the scenario.
So, if you are a drawer, or if you know drawers who can be interested by our webcomic, please contact me, or contact us on dbmcontact@dragonball-multiverse.com
Thank you verry much.
