Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
Hmm. I rather get 19 and 20 before other forms of Cell. That seems unlikely anyway though, as we've been told their focus will be on the Buu Arc. So, yeah...
Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
I'd be likely to buy one of BOG light-blue-sweatsuit Gokû. I really dug that outfit on him. X3
I'd also say "or ssjg Gokû", but aside from more accurate hair-color (mine has the "flame aura on" shade that's closer to red than the "flame aura off" magenta that I like more), I can't really see one surpassing the Banpresto ssjg Gokû I bought online in terms of accuracy.

On hiatus.

I guess SSj Future Trunks has no way on being reissue now. I guess if they ever make Cell saga Trunks or GT Trunks then that would be the closet to a renewal or reissue of Future Trunks.

Trunks was a Tamashii Web exclusive, so it's pretty much impossible for him to get a re-release.Hellspawn28 wrote:I guess SSj Future Trunks has no way on being reissue now. Piccolo, SSJ Goku and Gohan were regular retail releases. Everything that came out and will come out afterwards are Tamashii Web exclusives.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
This is true, but with Dragon Ball being one of their only lines that is mainly surviving due to it's overwhelming overseas popularity, it might be wise for them to reconsider a non-domestic re-release somewhere down the line.
The more time that passes, the more new collectors get into the figure line. They may not stay interested if they aren't capable of picking up their favorite characters though. So, since they already have all the materials from making the figures the first time, it'd be a smart and cost effective move on their part. They can draw in more customers with the expanding line, as well as with ones interested in something they don't have to make a new sculpt or molds for. Seriously, we have people buying some of these figures for hundreds of dollars a piece. You'd think they'd rather have these consumers purchasing 3-4 of their figures with that money.

I guess if they do Buu saga Vegeta and Post-ROSAT Trunks would be the closet thing to renewal or reissues of SSj Vegeta and Future Trunks. I also guess Cyber Freeza can be done next since Freeza might not be reissue anytime.Gonstead wrote:Trunks was a Tamashii Web exclusive, so it's pretty much impossible for him to get a re-release.Hellspawn28 wrote:I guess SSj Future Trunks has no way on being reissue now. Wasn't the Figuarts Zero Goku a Tamashii web exclusive? It was recently reissued.

Seems only Goku's belt and the orange portion of his outfit is made of actual cloth. The blue portion looks like plastic.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
It been stated in a interview that was a very, very special case. It's unlikely web exclusive to be reissue ever again anytime soon as stated in this recent interview with Bluefin.Metalwario64 wrote:Wasn't the Figuarts Zero Goku a Tamashii web exclusive? It was recently reissued.
http://www.tohokingdom.com/interviews/t ... -2014.htmlLim: The FiguartsZero Goku was the very first Tamashii Web Exclusive that was ever re-issued and that was a very, very special case because its main purpose was for launching the market in Europe. The North American market sort of piggy-backed on that re-issue, but again, mainly for Europe and other new markets just to get the Dragon Ball thing going over there. It's not likely this can ever happen again because the limited nature of the Web Exclusive label pretty much ensures that once it comes out, it's done.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
I see.
I don't know why they can't just reissue them outside of Japan if being web exclusives is so tight over there. They really need to work this out, since there is such high demand for certain figures here that they're missing out on money because of a stupid policy.
