Favourite segment of the Podcast?

Post by The Tori-bot » Thu Sep 21, 2006 5:42 pm

This is a question that goes out to you, all the Daizenshuu EX Podcast listeners. What is your favourite section of the Podcast? You can choose from...

Topic: The backbone of every Podcast. Sometimes it's about characters, sometimes it's about merchendise, and sometimes it's about parodies and tributes! The topics are always so varied and so in-depth, that it's hard to find at least one topic that you don't love!

News/Releases: Ever wanted to just hear all the latest Dragon Ball news over the speakers rather than having to scroll down the site to find it? Well, now you can, with the DaizEX Podcast! Listen to two fanboys and a fangirl wetting their pants over video games and DVDs!

Meri's Top 5: No matter how serious or how up-your-own-ass you are, you'll always crack up or tear up at hearing Meri's Top 5! Her lists have it all, from sucky characters and GT plotholes to emotional deaths and Piccolo doing cool stuff!

Julian's DBZ ABCs: Every week, Julian tells us stuff about Dragon Ball while helping us to learn the alphabet! He can make up something to do with that letter, no matter how major or minor it is (*cough*Qui&Naruto*cough*)!

Emails: Every week, Mike, Julian, Meri, guests, Tara and Tyler (meow) answer all of your burning Dragon Ball questions! Hear them struggle as they try to explain filler inconsistancies, GT plotholes and speculation about how Trunks was concieved! Whatever your question is, if they have the spare time to spend if the Podcast is too short, they'll answer it, but most of the time they just say "it's a movie/filler/GT/FUNimation", and that should be enough for all you greedy bastards!

So, what's your opinion?

Note: If I missed a segment, don't hesitate to tell me.

EDIT: People on the segment list: DaemonCorps and (because he's cool) VegettoEX.

Gosh, this is kinda hard. I would have to say the Topic because thats usually where all the madness happens :D

But I love the whole podcast! Great job, guys!

I will confess, I got into the whole podcast thing because I saw the Meri's Top 5 section on site, and got curious on how she presented it in the podcast itself. So yeah, Meri's Top 5. :D

The introductory parts...it's funny how the cast tries to change the introduction every podcast.

I also wait breathlessly for the ending song. :D Some of the tracks they play are so rare!

Well, I like how each person has a segment that's their own:
- Mike pretty much dominates the topic segment
- Meri has a Top 5
- Julian has his ABCs
- Jeff reads over the e-mails (<-- You forgot that one, Tori!)

But I'd have to say that I liked the earlier podcast segment that kinda got removed in the later episodes-- the STUFF segment. I'd like how each person would provide us with a small window to their life outside of the podcast, whether it be purchasing a new game, or going to the gym, or whatever. That segment was kind'f a reminder that these guys are just people who happen to do a podcast. :D

Let's see... as said before I like the segues in the show, both the intentional music ones or the awkward ones. My favorite part of the show is obviously emails because that's what I usually go to the website and forum to do: answer questions and get questions answered. My favorite kind of episode, even though this happened only once I think, is individual character episodes. The Gohan one was good; there should be more.

I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

VegettoEX's extravagant "Purchases On eBay" section. :)

If I knew Master Ex's eBay user name, I'd track him down and out-bid him on every item he'd try to win. Ooooooh yeah... This ain't him, is it?

I guess it depends. I think I like Meri's Top 5 Lists best, since I like to guess what's going where on the list, if it's there at all. Tis fun.

I wonder what Julian will do when he gets to letter "X" in his DBZ ABCs. That's probably worse than Q.

My favorite is usually Julian's ABC or Meri's list, because sometimes the topic is about something that I don't get into much.

Most of the time I like it all equal but somedays....

Going to go with Julian's DBZ ABCs.

He's a funny guy, I don't think we hear enough from Julian.

Julian and Mike work well together and make me laugh.

I like... um... the pretty link that brings you to the download page for the podcast.

...Oh... and the page itself! It's sparkly!

I actually have yet to listen to a DaizEX podcast. I just don't have the time...

I'm so ashamed...

I can understand if you caught onto the podcast late but damn, you've never heard it? How can you not have time to hear the podcast but have time to do about 500 posts  ..

[off-topic]The podcast adds on to the site and forum in case if you are too lazy to read or if your blind. I like keeping tabs on a series of entertainment. After I saw all of the episodes of Dead Like Me, the podcast took its place. Don't end it. :( [/off-topic]
