I doubt this is the final list. Like someone mentioned, I don't recall seeing Goten on the list.

And if Freeza and Cell's other forms aren't in, I am actually fine with that as well. Frieza is mainly known for is 1st, 4th, and full powered forms anyway. \

And why is General Rildo ever in the game? I thought he was a pretty decent villain.

Sergio isn't certain that all the characters he found are playable. They could just be character models that have been created for the game so far. Likewise, we don't have any confirmation that some of the missing characters that we've seen in the trailers are playable either. Like Kid Goten and Trunks for example. All we've seen of them is them performing the fusion dance. That could have just been part of a cutscene for all we know. Dimps does have a habit of making models for characters that aren't playable. (Cold, Mecch Freeza, SS2 Goku in Burst Limit for example.)

Well the game is in pre beta, so no beam struggles right now is a given, in the final game, it will most likely be there. :D

Well, there are many gt references, I don't think they will be just "statues", right?
Gil MUST be an NPC, but other characters we seen in last video will be probably playable, come on :D

This was not a beta - it was a network test. They VERY specifically and explicitly never referred to it as a "beta" (or an alpha, for that matter).

About beam struggles, I think they will NOT add them, I think they will do like Battle of Z for that. It's also a practical issue: what if two character are struggling with 2 kamehameha, and other two characters struggle other 2 kamehameha THROUGH the other two? That could be the issue.

Well, it's kinda the same, but not really...

I'd very seriously like to know why Dimps chose to handle the transformations in the manner that they have though. As in only allowing Saiyans to have the ability in-battle, the fact that you can only access one at a time by having it use up an Ultimate Attack slot, and the fact that it has a set time to be used instead of allowing the player to attempt to maintain it like in previous titles.

With what we know right now, I'm sincerely going to miss transforming through all of Freeza forms during a battle.

I can guarantee they won't say whether or not GT is in the game. They'll give some standard PR answer that won't give any confirmation or denial. Hahaha, I don't even know why people bother asking that anymore. Until there's an official statement via Scan or something, I can't imagine they'd say.

I also want to know, because it doesn't make a lick of sense. The balance/competitive argument goes out the window when the game includes transformed characters as separate characters without such drawbacks. Especially if Sergio's list is real and SS4 / SSG Goku are their own characters, whivh would mean it's either not balanced or SS1 is stronger than either of those. Which would be insanely dumb.

The transformations, and effect they've had on the roster, are the only real issue I have so far but they're REALLY offputting.

Anyway, I don't see the point of complaining about beam struggles anymore. Heck, the Naruto Storm games(Storm 2 and above) didn't have any jutsu clashes, and there wasn't that much outrage, and it sold millions. So yeah, who cares about the beam struggles?

Understandable, but at this moment, there's only one path the DBZ games should go right now. Some can say the quantity path while others like myself say the quality path. If the SSJ4 character slot is true, then it won't bother me, because unlike the other SSJ transformations, SSJ4 seems like a more drastic transformation, therefore he should have a new moveset, like how Oni is in Street Fighter 4, or Izayoi in Blazblue(if anyone here plays that) The other SSJ transformations on the other hand, only a few things changed in the show. I'd rather for them to make more characters that have never been in a game before, than put the transformations as its own slot, even though it seems like thirteen (SSJ4 duo, Frieza, Cell, Buu) of them will be slots, but at least it's better than having over 60 transformations as character slots.

I mean, this is more of a general question and not character specific, but can Heroes-esque what ifs be expected? Also, the talk of a potential OVA was mentioned previously, had that been decided on or not?
