So Piccolo Daimao has been studying up on Namek culture in the meantime, huh?

Finally, Vegeta is dead. Oh and remember this gem:
Vegeta wrote:The Tuffles were weak, they didn't deserve to live. If you could destroy the Saiyans in your universe, that means they were even weaker.
What does that say about you, you damn midget?

To be fair the God's blade and Cell Jr. really did all of the work.

That cupped with his arrogance of dragging the fight out instead of taking Raichi out after the first or second wave.

I wonder how our Vegeta feels about all of this.

Well...that ended differently than I had expected, It was nice to get to see SS3 Vegeta, but it sure didn't seem to do the guy much good did it? I would have forgotten that this only leaves Kakarot in the tournament from their universe too. Who is he slated to fight?

Can't wait to see the Gast/Daimao fight. I have a bad feeling it's gonna be Gast, but I'd rather see more of Daimao personally.

You seriously need to make a 'Who else but Scarz!' image for posting at times like this.

There's still this whole 'men are pervy, women aren't' mindset amongst most of the populace I'm afraid, so...it's probably always gonna surprise those that didn't already know when they find out your gender, heh.

Who is he slated to fight?
Vegeta.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Yay I'm happy Raichi won. He becomes more powerful with each character that dies in the tournament (Army wise). I wonder if people might actually avoid killing as every time someone is killed, Raichi can use them on his team.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Good shading on ghost Vegeta!

Also this means that Raichi now has Evil Vegeta in his ball!

Not really. I don't look at that stuff, so I wasn't aware of the exact contents of the stuff you made (whether it was for men or women n' stuff like that).

Oh yeah we didn't see his reaction! That's disappointing. The characters from the official universe continue to be mere extras instead of being the main characters :(

That's because the comic already moves along pretty slowly without showing the reaction of everyone to everything. That's also why we don't usually get very big panels occupying a single page and stuff like that.

Yeah, I know and I'm not complaining. It's just a bit disappointing. I wouldn't mind if we got Vegeta's reaction in the second panel instead of Raichi's laugh.

The novelizations tend to be better at showing more diverse reactions. Quite a bit of context gets left out of the comic unfortunately, but given the pacing and limited panel space, it's understandable.

Maybe Piccolo Daimao fused with Kami in this universe?

That wouldn't be enough by itself. I don't see main universe Piccolo being able to stand up to Gast and he was a warrior type that fused with another warrior type and Kami and did a bunch of training.
For this to be a fight Daimao would haved to of done that whole figured out how to force fusion and gone to Namek like people were talking about earlier (or been sneaking around force fusing with the Nameks at the tourney). Or maybe just fused with his own offspring which I guess would be a lot easier. Or maybe figured out the forced fusion and have it be something that lets him draw power from Gast by just being near him or some how trick him. Or maybe became immortal and trained in the ROSAT for like ever and then escaped it. Or figured out his own version of Mafuba that would work. Or some other crazy twist.

I'm surprise Vegeta got killed off. I did enjoy the fight, but I felt like it took forever to be finished. If Piccolo Daimo is from a universe where Goku was sent to Earth then he is likely not very strong. Gast will kill him by sleeping.

I mostly enjoyed it, except for the few pages with SS3 Vegeta. Aside from that bullshit, it's one of my top three favorite DBM fights.

I'm curious, what are your guys favorite and least favorite characters?

Boo is probably my favorite, while Bra and Vegetto are probably my least favorites.
