Sorry but GT had nothing reason why those game sold well. Budokai 3 got a lot of good word of mouth and it was enjoy by people who don't even like Dragon Ball. The Sparking series did well because of the large amount of characters and the first game feature a brand new fighting combat system. I follow the first Sparking game back in 2005 before it came out and the game a lot of hype because it look like a DBZ game similar to the Super Sonic Warriors games in 3D. Despite the first game sucking and making most people turn away from DBZ games, the game sold well because the large hype it got. The second game got better word of mouth and sold well which help made a third game. The third game got good buzz and the large selection of characters help it sold well.

Apparently Jaco the galactic patrolman is in the game.
He should have been the pre order character...
Indeed, my friend...

Not all English dub fans do. I grew up with the toonami dub but I think the Japanese dub and quite a few others that I've been exposed too are better. In terms of kai I like all dubs equally
I agree with this. when I first heard Goku in Japanese my friends laughed and hated it but I liked it! actually...I loved it. I still love the dub too(several dubs) but I definitely wouldn't hate on the Japanese dub. I like it too much. :)

Question! Is Jaco the galactic patrolman part of the Dragonball Universe like Dr. Slump? I know nothing about it what so ever. actually the only reason I was gonna buy it was because it had the thing about Goku's mom being in it.

Why are people upset over lock on disc DLC? What can you expect from a license video game franchise? I mean Transformers: WFC had on the disc DLC of the pre-order bonuses. I think it's easier to focus on a sequel then doing DLC for Dimps.

Yes. Toriyama wrote it as a prequel to the Dragon Ball manga.

That bird is the toki toki bird from dragon ball xenoverse. :D
"There are many types of monsters that scare me: Monsters who cause troubles without showing themselves, monsters who abduct children, monsters who devour dreams, monsters who suck blood… and then, monsters who tell nothing but lies. Lying monsters are a real nuisance: They are much more cunning than others: They pose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart; they eat even though they’ve never experienced hunger; they study even though they have no interest in academics; they seek friendship even though they do not know how to love. If I were to encounter such monsters, I would likely be eaten by them… because in truth, I am that monster."

That's all the info we got on him so far.

It's pretty weird that the Trunks statue they're giving away isn't wearing his time outfit. The case looks good but it's just a case lol. I wonder how much extra you'll have to pay for this. 80-90 is a lot for that.

That's because that statue wasn't made for the game, it was released in September :?

Vegeta isnt bothering me much. He never did much as a SSJ4 anyway aside from barely surviving Yi Xing Long until he fused with Goku. Otherwise SSJ4 Vegeta wasent really relevant to the degree Goku was. Personally, better SSJ4 Vegeta than someone like Super Vegetto again. The disk locked stuff is crap yeah but I'm sure people will get around that in due time. The disc locked DLC of SF X Tekken didnt take long to crack.

Ok, so let me get this straight, there will be 2 versions available on pre-order
The trunks figurine edition with metal case (approximately 100$)
and the normal (cheaper) that comes with Vegeta and armors and black metal case (approximately 60$ - 70$)

Correct me if I am wrong.
Someone hit me up when Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu :lolno:, Goten, Buu, and Gohan :!: :!: :!: become relevant again :?

Because DLC in general is kinda whack? Maybe it's just me being old-fashioned, but I remember when games had everything we needed on the disc, and we either unlocked it somehow or had a cheat code, not paid extra money on top of the game itself to get access to it. Those were the days...

At any rate, I guess I'm a sucker too though, because if it's not too pricey, I guess I'll go for the version that at least gets me SS4 Vegeta, since I'd want all characters available in this thing.

110€ is roughly $140 so you were way off the mark there.

Isn't the standard edition just a normal Blu-ray/DVD plastic case with the game and the code for the "DLC" characters? I though the steelbook case was part of the Collector's Edition.

I agree DLC is bullshit. These games are expensive enough as it is I shouldn't have to pay extra just to play a complete game. It should come complete.
