Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

The only reason I can imagine for why people would think that is if they're not as deep into the franchise, or they only follow DBH and that's it.

From what I gather:
-Brolli's creator was never asked back to help with BOG and seemed to dislike the movie
-Toriyama seems to be making his own version of movie and specials canon what with redesigning Bardock for Minus. He seems to not count the earlier movies as anything canon to the manga what with all the BOG continues the manga story stuff
-Brolli is the opposite of Toriyama's 'pare it down and being back the levity' strategy

A revival that brings despair seems like Wrath of the Dragon to me. But its still soon to say something.
I hope the new villain is as good character as Beerus.

It's mostly Broly fans and newcomers that are making these ridiculous theory's.
I just wish people would wait for new info on the movie before going too far with these theory's...

think what would be good is that goku ask shenron to bring back broly to fuse but broly dosent want to, so goku would have persuade him to do so and in the end he does fuse but instead of goku taking control broly takes control but cause havoc on earth.

the original super saiyan god vs broly the legendary super saiyan god. i can totally see it happen

What if shenron was the first super saiyan god........ the god lost power the sayians lost their energy, and lost to many soldiers so they put him in the dragon balls and placed the dragon balls on another planet that was earth 

broly being legendary means his powerlevel rises to no limit surpassing even god if he lives long untill his powerlevel is on god lvl . so I can totally see broly being the bad guy in the next movie

its already been confirmed that evil goku will be the wish

I bet if Toei had ssj Gokû frowning in that promo art we wouldn't see even half as many 'evil Gokû' theories. It's that smirk that's doing it.

Gokû wouldn't be a good villain anyway, imo. He'd be like a more childish version of Cell.

The only thing bothers me is... These 10 years were said to be more or less peaceful, why a story of despair now? I do not see why everybody wants to exclude a story after Uub's appearance, even if Toriyama said that almost everyone were on their top in BOG... That was for BOG, Goku and some others can also become more potent as Beerus already said. BOG was more or less a promotional movie for the entire franchise, so even if some of out heroes can not fight enough well, they still could have been useful.

Well BOG lasted for a day. This movie could last a day in real time. So 2 days where they have to fight for the world out of 10 years isn't so bad.

I hope this revived character is someone new.

I'd also like to see Vegeta reach a new (canon) stage, whether that be SSJ3 or God.

Toriyama said he's drawing new characters for the movie so it's safe to say whoever will be new.

At the end of the last movie he said he'll use ssjg against whoever they fight next so at the very least we know we'll get him in the new form.

In terms of ssj3 i think there's still a chance he'll get it cause :

1- He'll have a bigger role in the movie or be the main character.
2- It's very popular in Japan so having him will sell more tickets and toys

This stuff makes Gt look really good and that's very hard to do.

What I would like to see is a nice connection to GT in the end like a gag scene of Pilaf and the others wishing themselves older again and they mess up again getting too old/as they were so they actually have the age again seen in GT. Many fans would probably not like something that connects to GT but I do.

My biggest problem with GT, outside of never turning Gokû back to an adult, is they spend most of the series re-using plots from DB and Z. It isn't until we hit that final evil dragons arc that they start doing their own plots, imo, and by that time is already too late--40+ episodes have passed.

I wouldn't mind more Pilaf Gang in general though.

I'd prefer they give more time to Piccolo, or Goten, and Trunks, or Yamucha, Tien, and Kuririn, then the Pilaf gang, and yes I realize we got a little more Goten, and Trunks, thanks to them, but doing something a little more interesting with them, or all of them.

Would anyone else like to see a canon evil SSJ. Broly was cool at his time but I would like to see a true evil SSJ that is just far enough ahead of Goku that they will have trouble beating him but not invincable to beat.

Since Goku was 60% of Beerus the new evil saiyan could be like 75% of Beerus.

I'd like to see Toriyama's version of a Legendary super saiyan, but at the same time, I feel like the more DBZ goes into the backstory of the saiyans, the more luster they lose as evil, and the more like superman Goku becomes (Which isn't what I personally want). Besides I think in Toriyama's mind Goku is the legendary super saiyan.


And no Bardock, he get's to much stuff already!!!

Agreed in no more Bardock, I like the character well enough, but I think he's ok where he is.

I do want to see more of Gokû's ssjg powers in 15 though. I have this minor concern he won't pop-up at all and they'll just hand wave the looks and only mention you can't sense him anymore. I have no basis for this, so I don't know why that thoughts there.

No more Bardock for me either.
I would rather the Original Super Saiyan God have connections with Vegeta family. Explaining why his family became royalty.

Everytime there's a flashback about King Vegeta, he's just getting humiliated by Freeza or Beerus.
