Eastern Kaioshin was never so smart. I think he is the one under Buu's control and he is feeding lies to this other Kaioshin to create chaos.

To be fair, that was because the other Kaioshin got absorbed or killed by Buu before they got to properly train him in full. With Buu defeated in their universe and the other Kaioshin still around, he has no reason to worry and panic so badly at anything with a M on it since he's not the infinite rookie anymore.

I like the fact that they're bringing up the Eastern Kaioshin and buu. I love the fights but sometimes the stories get me really exited too!

I think East Kaioshin is jumping to conclusions, but I'm very glad they're bringing up the weirdness of forgiving Buu. It just seemed too reckless an attitude to have - as if every character cares as much about this tournament as someone like Vegetto would. I thought it was weird at the time that Grand Kaioshin would behave that way, so it's good that they are addressing it. Now it doesn't feel so contrived, as if the Buu flip out wrote Salagir into a corner, and he had to resort to a weak cop out like that. Addressing it like this allows there to be a plot related reason.

Even so, East Kaioshin better have a good explanation for his accusation.

If Buu could enthrall foes, wouldn't he have done it to more people, like the other Kais, maybe even the other contestants?

I died laughing at the GT reference. And Dai Kaioshin being under Buu's control is something I never thought of but it seems likely.

There could be a higher risk of being discovered if he spreads too much. By only influencing the leader of the ones who are organizing the tournament, the risk of being spotted would be as little as possible and he would be in control of the person with most control over the tournament.

Ginyu could be switching bodies all over the place. He stole the body of Freeza's solider then he sneak his way to steal random bodies during the Tournament and he found way to steal the body of the Grand Kaioshin.
