We're on collection 8 (eps 183–205), Regarding the movie pack, apparently the subtitles were translated from French or something silly like that. I would like to get into OP but the episode count is quite scary lolVegard Aune wrote:Not quite true. It doesn't air on TV, but Manga UK is releasing DVD-collections based off FUNi's sets. Not sure how far along they've gotten. They're also getting the movies in these three-pack DVD-sets, so they're actually even getting things that FUNi has not put out themselves. (Though I hear their subtitles for the movies are somewhat poor.)Lord Beerus wrote:Depends what part of Europe you're talking about. In the UK, there is no One Piece anime. Period. Not since Toonami stopped broadcasting in 2007.
As for the topic... yeah, as my avatar might indicate I'm gonna have to say Film Z is the superior movie. Aside from having vastly superior animation-quality, it's also a lot more "cinematic" in terms of its story, characterization, pacing etc., and honestly it feels like a more satisfying experience. (Because really, Battle of Gods's ending was in some senses a little too inconclusive.)
Does anyone have any screens of Film Z, would like to compare it to BoG since most folks saying it looks superior, (I thought BoG looked great except for the infamous CG scene).
