That's actually a really interesting edit. It's helped me imagine what it could end up like at least, and it's not that bad. I do prefer the instrumental bit though.

If only the resolution were higher; I can tell each of those spots have different words beneath them (the yellow text, not the white. The white is just "Character A/B/C etc"), but it's too tiny to read. T_T

EDIT: I found a bigger image, but it's the yellow text beside the dragon balls is still too blurry to read. T_T

Not that I'm thinking his inclusion is likely, but Kurieza is related to the villain being revived. Toriyama could take this chance to incorporate him into the main continuity if he wanted.

Seeing Uub now would ruin his "surprise" reveal at the end of the series though.

Kuriza doesn't really fit in this movie; even a cameo would only serve to confuse people. Not to mention, Toriyama's recent comments about their race make it seem that Freeza will be the only one of his kind that matters going forward.

I just said Kurieza's inclusion isn't likely at all, but none of your points would really stop Toriyama from doing whatever he wanted. It's not like he's known as an author without contradictions, especially if what he's doing is supposed to serve as a surprise (like Whis turning out to be stronger than "the strongest in the history of Z", Beerus).

I would kill for a canonical Kuriza appearance but I don't have a lot of hope of it happening. It's pretty clear that he's relegated to gag manga and supplementary games like Heroes by now.

....That said, I would love to be pleasantly surprised.

I guess that Kuriza could serve as supplementary comic relief, but between that and Gohan's new hilarious tracksuit, Toriyama would be kind of going against his whole "more action scenes" promise.

I don't see what Gohan's tracksuit has to do with Toriyama including more action scenes. It may be used for a short gag or two, but it's not like the suit is the Pilaf Gang or anything.

Also, while Kurieza debuted in a gag manga, he generally played the straightman. Most of the gags were done towards him, not by him. Very similar to Freeza in the Kochikame crossover. I really doubt he's going to be included at all though. If he were, I would think Toriyama would have vbeen smart enough to utilize Freeza's son to revive his dead father, as that seems like a better motive than just some random henchmen missing their boss.

That or formally introduce Cooler as the one manipulating their forces into bringing Freeza back as a means of testing the Z-fighters and the powers of the gods in order to prepare himself more thoroughly. Kuriza was always a joke for jokings sake. Cooler was non-canon, but had a more aesthetically pleasing character design over Freeza. Besides I already had this idea some time ago that someone else must be setting all this up behind the scenes, since it's really not possible for Freeza/Cold's army to stick together for 20yrs after their deaths.

Don't like the Grunge music, but I think they'll use this when Freeza henchmen invade the earth.
