Hey I still wish there was an English release for "Dream 9", the Op/DBZ/Toriko crossover movie. That was a fun watch.

There was so much BOG merch I wanted to exist (and would have thrown money at) that Shueisha never had made.
There's never going to exist a ssjg Gokû nendoroid or cupoche, and I accept this. T_T
At least, VJump's "preview" page is due to update some time tomorrow; Japan's officially one week away from the next VJump issue. Preview page always updates one week before.

I looked back and somehow skimmed it, anyways I don't think we can accurately guess when they can get the English dub made and released similar to what mike said it will get done when it gets done however I (like everyone else) am very eager and obviously hope for the soonest release date possible.

2. It was being released in lots of other countries with no word for America, making fans more agitated.

I think other countries got it first because the film distributor of those countries was able to work out the license with Toei first before Funimation did. The license to release the film is likely different here then most parts of the world since we have the largest movie market. I would imagine it would take longer time to market and distributed the film over time since it's a new movie. People want the movie fast as soon as possible but I do wish fans would be patient. Things take time and we will have the movie out before you know it. In the meanwhile just enjoy the new year and see what other cool possible stuff come out while we are waiting.

The chances of this being released at around the same time in the US are slim to none at best. I don't think we'll have to wait as long as with Movie 14 (still the shortest wait so far) but I'd think it'd still take a few months before it becomes available.

They don't seem to shy away from guitar, so they'll probably

If I had to choose a female japanese singer to do it, Utada Hikaru would be my choice though.
