Yes, there will be (possibly new) information on Revival of F as well as Heroes.Chuquita wrote:I'd almost forgotten since it's bimonthly now, but Saikyo Jump comes out next week: http://www.shonenjump.com/j/saikyo/
There's Dragon Ball in the preview, but I dunno if it means anything about F.

I hope it's something plot-related. Or more Toriyama character designs for the movie (c'mon Gokû and Vegeta!).
They gotta be running out of non-plot things to talk about by now.

Lol, it's terrible how little we know and the reason I can joke about it since it's talking so long.
All this non info sours the mood and in turn heightens expectations making it easier to be disappointed once the movie comes out.
Shueisha did it better last time with BOG, this is just tiring.
Serious though: another thing I forgot, did Julian ever get a copy that CineCom Walker?
Did it end up that there was no new info in the magazine?

3D is bullshit. It's rarely pulled of well. And I highly doubt FnF is gonna utilize 3D appropriately. The whole things just screams of Toei looking to make an extra buck off of gullible moviegoers who buy into the whole 3D gimmick regardless.Low Tone G wrote:News: nothing important, just this: http://www.kanzenshuu.com/2015/01/28/re ... g-imax-3d/

Agreed. I can't even remember the last 3D movie I saw. I'll take 2D every time. The only movie I can remember that did 3D well was Avatar; of course, that was about all it had going for it.Lord Beerus wrote: 3D is bullshit. It's rarely pulled of well. The production committee members would prefer to make their money back and then some, so it's not exactly mind-blowing that they're stooping to relying on the complacency of the lowest common denominator to do so.Lord Beerus wrote:The whole things just screams of Toei looking to make an extra buck off of gullible moviegoers who buy into the whole 3D gimmick regardless.

Last movie I remember seeing that had genuinely good 3D? How to Train Your Dragon 2. Lots of really great landscape-shots and flying-scenes in that movie that looked really great in 3D. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 also looked great in 3D for similar reasons (though the movie itself was awful). Now, with the proper time and effort put into it, I'd say a DBZ-movie could lend itself to some really awesome 3D-shots... but then again at this point I have basically no faith in this movie's animation looking good, (I'm still open to the film being good otherwise, but the animation? I'm completely resigned to the idea that it is going to suck) so I seriously doubt the 3D will actually help in any way.Freeza Soldier #156 wrote:Agreed. Ignoring that it's not even the right style for these sheets, the image is a fan concept that's been on Deviantart for a month now.

I laughed to this, because yesterday someone asked if this movie would be on IMAX and now we got this news.
Legendary Dragon Ball always breaking records.

I actually watched that film in 2D, then I heard how amaze balls the 3D was but really didn't want to watch the film again lol. But 3D DBZ has me curious if it ever makes it way to the UK, I will trial it out.Freeza Soldier #156 wrote:Agreed. I can't even remember the last 3D movie I saw. I'll take 2D every time. Thought as much, Dragon ball is simply a beast (or ape if you will lol)!
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Looks like my question from yesterday was answered then. Anything to help the movies box office chances is a good thing.
How popular are 3D movies in Japan?
