Release Date Contradictions

Post by Alestat » Tue Feb 03, 2015 1:16 am

The Kanzenshuu's database is 99% accurate and trustworthy and I use it a lot. But this time I'm hesitating...
I found different release dates for certain publications.

Dragon Ball Z Gaiden - Jōkan
Kanzenshuu: August 1993
Japanese Wikipedia: 23 July 1993

Dragon Ball Z Gaiden - Gekan
Kanzenshuu: August 1993
Japanese Wikipedia: 25 August 1993

Jump Gold Selection 4: Dragon Ball Z Anime Special
Kanzenshuu: 04 October 1989
dragonball.wikia: 18 October, 1989

Jump Gold Selection 5: Dragon Ball Z Anime Special Vol. 2
Kanzenshuu: 06 June 1991
dragonball.wikia: 20 June, 1991

I know that the "wiki" sites are not the best sources of information, still I would like to ask you guys. is it possible that you just forgot to update these dates? Or are these wiki dates are complete b......t?
If yes, how do you know, that your dates are valid? What's your source, what method you used to found it out? Is this difference between the dates comes from the same reason as the difference between the Tankobon's Issue and Sale dates? Unfortunately there's no detailed information on Kanzenshuu about the Jump Selections, please help me out ppl.

Also, what's the difference between the Jump Anime Library and the Jump Anime Collection?
