With BOG being 105 I don't see why they wouldn't make this 15 minutes longer.
I see. But the theatrical version was 85 minutes, wasn't it?
Yes but keep in mind they didn't know how well people would take Dbz after all these years but now they do so I don't see why they would hold back anything.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

People do stuff like that all the time in real life though. He's just that much of a brat.

Also the whole "bodies matter when being revived" thing is how it always was since Dragonball, but then Kami intervened around the Saiyan saga I think, to negate that. Obviously he wouldn't do that for Freeza.

True. So I can hype for this movie to have a two-hours duration.

I should know since I live with someone who does that, but even so they don't believe their own hype truthfully. It's just a way to piss people off. Freeza at least seemed to show he listens to his dad, so if he says people out there are stronger than him and shouldn't be messed with, I think Freeza would get that too.

So you're saying God covered every single body in the entire world when everyone was blown into nothingness....Dende didn't seem to do jack shit.

Okay, i don't see any direct evidence but i can buy into that, however If you have any material that actually shows any of that i would be very interested (Or just tell me what page of the manga because i own the whole thing).

Why do look at them as fan fiction ? and what fan service are you talking about ?
Go to fanfiction.net or something along those lines, and you'll find billions of stories about villain returning and getting unbelievably strong. It's literally one of the top things in fanfiction. So much so even my employer did it too. There's one for everyone, most commonly Broly...Hell if it were Broly coming back, I bet people would still say it's all good since Toriyama is on board.

By fanservice it's Freeza returning for the "Oh look at that it's a past Villain so cool" feeling, giving others what seems to be a minor chance to fight so people can go "Oh hey look they're doing something cool"...when they're not really doing anything of real note beyond fanservice fights. Gohan and Videl being fanservice for "Aw look at the family" when really it's most likely has zero meaning beyond "Hey look pan is born....ok moving on now." More to come soon once the news pops up.

Because the series never had old antagonists coming back stronger than before right?

I agree with Marco, it's not ridiculous or even fan service to do something that this show naturally does with it's story. I'm not going at anyone in specific but in general i'd note that just because people end up enjoying it does not make it fan service and to use the term fan service to belittle everyone's pleasure in it doesn't support any claim.

Obviously training to get stronger hadn't occurred to him to be a necessity until he had been thoroughly beaten twice.

Clearly, the self proclaimed prodigy and genius who ran an entire planet trading organisation didn't stop to consider that maybe he should train to make sure that he could beat the man who almost killed him. No this was something that had to happen twice before he had the common sense to think training might be a good idea.

So basically he's just an idiot then.

Pilaf was a joke to be laughed at, subverting the whole thing and was never taken seriously nor stronger than everyone else all the sudden.

When did Tenshinhan come back as a villain?

Cyborg Tao Pai Pai was a joke and used for closure for Tenshinhan. Never was he treated again as a serious threat since Goku himself said so. Nor did he become stronger than everyone else upon return when he was long since surpassed.

Piccolo Jr is a reincarnation who isn't entirely like his dad, and further more grows into his own character. If Piccolo never grew, he'd be awful. This was also during a time when Piccolo was stronger than everyone else. Freeza is long since been a joke.

Freeza is a joke twice. Once to benchmark the Cyrborgs, and once where Gohan kills him in a second. He's long since been not much of an opponent said by Goku himself.

Majin Vegeta isn't a villain coming back from the dead that's suddenly becomes stronger than everybody. Also Goku could one shot his ass if he weren't an idiot.

Because Toriyama is God of DragonBall, and he decides who gets revived injured or uninjured

But Cell didn't die. :eh: And he has Zenkai, that's why when he got back from his destruction, he became stronger. Does Freeza have Zenkai?

It's no big deal, i've moved on from this, the film is going to be great. Especially after reading the details of the summary i know this is going to be something that i can really enjoy. And besides may excuses will be made later on to make everything add up lol but if not who cares.

He already improved. He didn't think he needed to improve more. It's possible he hadn't considered how powerful one could get with training until hearing that a measly Saiyan could surpass Majin Buu.

This really isn't a problem. I'm just going to stop repeating the same thing over and over to you.

Same with Piccolo, Goten, Gohan, and Trunks when Boo blew up the planet. Their bodies was obliterated. When was it a rule that you're brought back in the state you died?

I know that when Chiaotzu blew himself up Kami put him back together again. Don't know about the others though unless someone intervened and fixed them up.

It's more of a case that Freeza was just so hot headed and desperate for revenge against Goku that he went to straight to Earth for vengeance without thinking he would need to get stronger. That's just who Freeza is; insanely arrogant and cocky to the point of where is played to his downfall.

Which is why Freeza wanting to train for the first time now is so refreshing.

Character development at its finest.

Freeza thought he was too good for training. What does Freeza do when Goku suggests improving his skills towards the end of their battle? Throws another kienzan. It's understandable as to why he'd be more satisfied with acquiring power through mechanization instead. One method is lazy and the other requires effort.

Okay, so you say Cell didn't die but then you say he came back from his destruction? See there is no denying Cell died.
