Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

What? He never even blew up a planet under his own power in the manga. Going by manga feats, the most impressive character by far would be Pure Majin Buu. He blew up Earth with an energy blast that could have destroyed a star.
The problem with your statement is that it has no feats too support that, the only thing that kid buu blew up was the earth and others nearby planets, one at a time.
In the manga goku never even said that kid buu had enough power to blow up the earth 10 times, it was just a filler dub.

and do you ignore Daizenshuu?
Uhh, doesn't the Daizenshuu accidentally list 2 dates for Pan's birth? Either her or Bra. It's either a difference of one year or hardly one at all IIRC, but I could be wrong on that.

Something I'm wondering about is the depiction of hell, I mean is it possible everybody has their own version of hell and the one we've seen with Freeza is his "hell"?
I'm thinking about this too. Its seems like this one is just for him but there's no confirmation.
I like the idea. Everyone have things they don't like. So being tortured by that, become their hell seems appropriate.
Goku's hell could be no food and only angry chichis and needles.
Toriyama still has some skills to make interesting things.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.
Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro
Favourite new DB Animators: Yuya Takahashi and Chikashi Kubota

Is Freeza actually being tortured though? Someone suggested that showing all these good, cute things could actually be the literal process of purification of his soul. A process that we knew about from the manga but which we had never seen depicted.
Some of these images that you folks are talking about, in addition to being included to some degree on their website promoting the manga stuffage, primarily come from "V-Jump+" bonus unlockable material which we'll be detailing on the site shortly.
Toyotaro drew that? Man, he is incredibly talented. He has Toriyama's art style to a tee.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

Ya' know. The website. Here. At Kanzenshuu. With the website and all ^_~.
Do you guys plan to cover on Dragon Ball Heroes too? It has been a while since the last news about it.
Tyro wrote:Haven't we been talking about those plotholes for the past 10 pages? "Why does Freeza have a body in Hell?", "Why is Freeza resurrected in pieces?", "How can Freeza's power jump so much in 4 months?", "Why wasn't Freeza reincarnated?", etc, etc.
The only plot hole there is the first question, which can be interpreted as a retcon of low importance. The rest can be deduced easily or have yet to be answered.
I disagree but I don't care enough to fight about it until the movie comes out.

No, Bra is older... Just see the manga and Daizenshuu
Y'know, instead of this "No, you're wrong!" "No, you are!" type of back-and-forth, you could elaborate in your posts and provide quotes and context.
SaiyaJedi wrote:A common question, with a simple answer and a convoluted background.
When the Daizenshuu series of guidebooks came out in Japan, the seventh (released in February 1996, a few days prior to the start of Dragon Ball GT) showed Pan as born in AGE 779, and Bra as born in AGE 780... in the main series timeline, that is. In their character biographies (in a separate part of the book), Pan was still listed as being born in AGE 779, but Bra was instead said to be born in AGE 778, creating a very confusing situation.
Since then, the situation has been more or less resolved, with all subsequent guidebooks coming down on the "Pan is older" side of the issue (mostly by dint of reproducing the timeline but not the biographies from Daizenshuu 7), but their respective character designs in Dragon Ball GT muddled things for the average viewer.
Battle of Gods is the first on-screen confirmation that Pan is indeed the older of the two.

So it does appear that the image of Whis fighting Vegeta and Goku is indeed legitimate. Which probably implies what most already speculated, that Vegeta gained Godly Ki off-screen and both are training with Whis and Beerus.
