I think it's funny how Super 17 does not give a shit during the story mode. Super Yi Xing Long wants to destroy the Universe while Bebi wants to take over the Universe and Super 17 was like "Whatever. As long if I'm the winner then I don't give a shit".

I hope this isn't a permanent change. Laura Bailey played a really good Kid Trunks in BOG.

She still played Trunks in Xenoverse. Just not Gotenks, according to the credits...

I'm just going with the idea that it might have been a time issue of some sort. Bailey no longer lives in Texas, she's in LA now, so maybe she only had enough time to get her Trunks lines in? With Gotenks, they may have figured that since it's a combined voice anyway, they could get away with a bit of a cheat.

One thing that's relieving is that Travis Willingham didn't return to play Cell. I liked his voice, but not as good as Clarke.

Isn't Clake union now or something, where it forced him to do Kai on a pseudonym? (I haven't kept up.)

Anyway, I imagine Clarke probably only bothered to come in to reprise the role because it was actual new content, and not just a rehash of the exact same story again to the point where they could have Willingham voice Cell and then use the audio for like 5 games since the same material is being covered with only minor new lines being needed.

Took me longer than I'd anticipated but I've finally unlocked all PQ's (and SS4 Goku) which means I've got every character, costume and arena on the game. Sweet!

Also, after completing training with Goku, I tried to make his Resurrection F gi, or as close as I could get to it:

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know the exact character creation settings for the "official" Future Warrior model? You know, the Saiyan with the red Gohan hair?

So I just used a wish to get my attribute points back so I can re-distribute them - I seem to remember someone (I wanna say it was Kental?) had noticed that after a certain point, it's not worth pumping any given category higher than a certain number, because it stops being beneficial. Anyone remember what number that was? I wanna say it was like 70 or 75?

Edit: Found something suggesting that getting to 100 does have benefits, but it just doesn't leave you a whole lot to work with otherwise, so...this is my new build, hopefully it'll work decently.

Max Health - 75
Max Ki - 50
Max Stamina - 12 (It gets the dregs left over, but I'll toss some newer points in there as I get them - I just got the update so I'm only at Lv. 80 right now)
Basic Attacks - 75
Strike Supers - 0 (I practically never use them, so meh)
Ki Blast Supers - 25

It's not as bad as people make it out to be either. But it is unfortunate that the game discouraged a balance character. I honestly don't care though, I made my characters how I wanted to.

I don't play online versus other players, so most of my characters haven't even had their stats distributed. I have like four of them with 0 in each stat, and they still do perfectly fine against most of the solo or team stuff.

I don't do online against people a whole lot either, just occasionally with friends. And I'd say that while that's a little more even, it's not balanced either (not how I'd normally go about it anyway). I'm just catering a bit towards my play style.

Yeah I built my female Saiyan to be balanced and surprisingly enough even your clothing options can help you make a balanced build. I tried going full ki blaster and while I still like it, the stats were...bad. Yeah going 100 points in Ki Blast and having +5 points in Health and Ki Blasts from the 4-star/GT Goku outfit was great, but it didn't entirely fit to my style. What's worse was that my Basic Attack damage was shit. Anyway, here's how I handled my female Saiyan's stats.

Max Health - 55 (48 one from points and 7 from gear and Z-Soul)
Max Ki - 50 (46 in points and 3 from Z-Soul; also one point is a dummy point)
Max Stamina - 4 (0 in points and 4 from gear)
Basic Attacks - 50 (51 from points and 4 from gear, but minus 4 (which rounds up to 5) from Z-Soul)
Strike Supers - 4 (0 in points and 4 from gear)
Ki Blast Supers - 80 (92 from points and minus 8 (which rounds to 12) from gear)

As I said earlier in the thread, one thing you need to keep in mind is how the game works stat distribution. At this point, I've learned enough to be able to distribute my points very well.

I'm just lazy. I don't want to bother figuring out what is best for my characters or playstyle because I can generally beat CPUs without needing to invest. So distributing the stats, screwing up and then having to collect Dragon Balls to fix it...only to screw up again doesn't eat away at my time.

I actually hadn't used stats on any of my characters outside the one I used to play the story with, but have since invested 100 points into basic melee on my other two Freeza Clansmen, left a 100 in the usable pool and then slapped whatever was extra into Ki Supers. They're used for the PQ grinding though. Eventually I'll probably have to do the same for the others as well, because the later PQs are getting harder to grind and deal with the Ultimate Finishes solo while trying to get all the attacks. I can't always wait to try and grind them when other people are on, as they'll have other things to do.

I probably wouldn't be as into this if the game didn't have such a big online function, and I'm a bit competitive so...yeah. Also looking at incomplete ki/stamina bars bug me greatly.
