Seriously. I think it looks great. I hope we get some non-poseable figures as well.

The packaging looks the same, but the shipping dates make it seem like a Pre-Order. Go ahead and try it, but it will probably be a lot cheaper if you wait for people to get there hands on it and then buy it.

Yeah, I was just scouring the web and apparently the release date is 21st April, so hopefully more of these will pop up at a cheaper price. There is also a Vegeta one too, would be nice to own both.

For the people who don't live in the US or wants their figuarts out before the US then SHF SSJGSSSJ Goku and Golden Freeza are up for pre-order on Nippon Yasan.

There are only about ~10 figures with the Toei sticker which all have noticeably different packaging:

Only thing I'm unsure of is the seller's Vol. 27 SS Vegeta. Its lacks the "Gold Hair Version" sticker and "Made in China" info:
Image

So with that said, go and ask here before buying anything:
http://dragonballfigures.com/

I have some info on this for you that I recall off the top of my head. I haven't collected DBZ figures for many years now, but I was a huge into Super Battle Collection back in the 1990's and early 2000's. Volume 27 Vegeta won't always have a "gold hair edition" sticker because it was only ever released with gold hair. It was the first to be released with gold hair in the line, and then later re-releases of the older super saiyan figures were released with gold hair as well. So while the initial releases of the earlier volumes were with yellow hair, there is no yellow hair version of volume 27. So if it doesn't have the sticker on that particular figure, it shouldn't concern you. If you see that figure with yellow hair, then that is a bootleg. Hope this helps.
"Of" =/= "Have"

Contractions:
-Should have = Should've
-Could have = Could've
-Would have = Would've

The heck does "should of" even mean anyway? Think about what those two words mean individually, and then try to read them back to back in a sentence and make sense of it. Are you forming a prepositional phrase, is "should" a part of a larger grouping, or are you just typing random words based on how you think you hear them used verbally? Perhaps take a moment to contemplate this, and see if it becomes as mind jarring for you to look at as it does for me..

If anyone has the SDCC Goku that they no longer want or are willing to sell that is unopened please message me. I am trying to get caught up on my SH Figuarts DBZ Collection Thank You! :)

Here is a better look at the Banpresto Golden Freeza:
Other than the feet I do prefer this one over the SH Figurats one.

And you can already preorder them cheaper than that with free shipping, so much less reason to complain about buying a Freeza with a disappointing pallet and Goku with weird SS hair when they could have just used the original sculpt and painted it blue. =P

Anyone hear about the Mexican exclusive Goku figure from Sh figuarts? I kinda want it for that new head sculpt. Its the one where Goku looks like he's grinding his teeth.

It's more than just a new head sculpt. It's his Freeza Arc "Go" dogi.

I mainly just want it for the new head sculpt.
This is inevitably gonna be a scalper bait figure due to its rarity.

I'd love to have it, but I refuse to pay more than the figure's MSRP. I'm sure it will be super expensive if it remains Mexico exclusive too. In order to get it, you have to get a ticket and even the ticket doesn't promise you a figure purchase.

I'm not sure if it will remain an exclusive though. The announcement said exclusive packaging, not figure. I imagine they'll eventually want to whore it out as Kame/Kaio/Go symbol dogi variation releases and Kaio-ken variations to help have money basically thrown at them.

Forgive my ignorance on this subject, but I haven't bought a Dragon Ball toy since... 2003? I'm out of the loop.

Are these items legit? They list Banpresto as the seller, so I would imagine that they are, but I wanted to be sure. One reason I've avoided buying these toys for so long is because I know bootlegs are extremely common. Has anyone bought from their American store before? Do they come with their original boxes and everything?

Ever since "Battle Of Gods," I've been seeing all these awesome "World Collectible Figures" and I'm just itching to buy a few of them. I just never knew how to get my hands on them. A quick search on Amazon Japan reveals multiple pages for the exact same items, so I never knew who to buy from. Not only that, but apparently these things aren't normally sold in stores? The most recent update on the main site says that apparently these are normally distributed via claw machines. I never knew that. It all seemed so complicated that I never even thought to check my regular ol' American Amazon.

Is there a reason certain figures are sold separately, while others are either only sold in bundles or not at all?

Silly questions, I know. Thanks in advance! ^_^;

I can't comment on those particular figures in general (though they look legitimite enough from what I can tell), but as far as the World Collectible Figures go, just be warned that they are pretty tiny for their price. I paid, I think, roughly $12 for the Battle of Gods Kuririn one, and, well...

That's not to say I'm not happy with the figure though - it looks GREAT - but just be fair warned that we are talking about a pretty small item.

If you happen to have a Hastings anywhere local by the way, I'd check out their figure selection too - I just saw a few of the newer-ish figures (namely the Minus Goku, Minus Bardock, Gine, high-school Gohan, Videl, and Mr. Satan figures) there just this last Tuesday. They were all roughly $15 or so there, so I didn't end up caving and getting any of them (may have caved if they had Jaco), but if you're wanting to try and getting one in person rather than ordering online, that's an option too.

Actually, checking into it, it looks like you can even get some of them (as well as some other DB figures) off of the Hastings website as well. I know I remember seeing some of those Tamashii Nations Figuarts ZERO figures in store as well.
