I was looking over the roster for BT3 and noticed as I had as a child that there was Baby Vegeta, who had the same body as base GT Vegeta, but base GT Vegeta is not present in the game in any capacity. Why is there only a GT Vegeta in the form of Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, but not one in base form when the model exists? I used to joke that all Atari had to do was color the hair and eyes black and give him a move set with generic Vegeta attacks.
I also felt there could have been a GT Trunks by simply skinning one of the two Future Trunks and giving him a some different attacks. Adult GT Goku could have been playable if they had colored EOZ Goku's costume differently. All in all, I was disappointed with the very easy ways we could have had a few more characters, especially now that I know for sure we'll never get a sequel and all Dragon Ball games after it released in America have had a smaller roster of playable characters.

Re: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 wasted roster expansion possibilitie
Atari had nothing to do with the Sparking games besides releasing them here in the US. Spike is the one who chooses who gets to be on the roster and I guess they didn't felt like having GT Vegeta as a playable character. To me, GT Vegeta and GT Adult Goku should be alts then being their own character since they are the same character. Sparking 3/Tenkaichi 3's biggest promble was that it had too many unneeded characters like three different versions of Goku, two different versions of Trunks and Vegeta.

My reason for saying GT Adult Goku should have been an alternate character was for the revisionist of the DB Fanbase that wish that he wasn't turned into a kid in the first place. I don't really feel the different versions of Trunks were unnecessary since there were only two of them. Goku and Vegeta you could definitely make an argument against, but Goku had a lot of different moves that I assume they wanted to display. I'm not defending the choice, but I can see where it made sense.Hellspawn28 wrote:Atari had nothing to do with the Sparking games besides releasing them here in the US. Only reason I'm suggesting GT Vegeta as a separate character is just that I feel it's so far removed from the Vegeta of Z and I would have liked for him to have been able to transform into a Super Saiyan 4 like GT Goku could.
