Could bulma and her father upgrade the androids?

Their the smartest people on earth. Let's say they had all their blue prints. You think they could upgrade them or repeat the same steps to make everyone into cyborgs? Also if 16 was alive you think they would upgrade him? You think the androids could be as strong as the later super sayain levels or God levels?

Bulma is the smartest person in the Dragon Ball universe. If she had all the blueprints for how Dr Gero created the cyborgs, I'm pretty certain she be able to do the same thing in but much more efficiently. And I also don't think the Z-Fighters would consider upgrading #16. I mean, as as far they know, once the fiasco with Cell had ended, #16 was still going to kill Goku. What sense would it make if Bulma made the cyborg built for the sole purpose of killing Goku, stronger?

Didn't he purposely ignore those commands to protect others. By the end of it he didn't seem to care. He was like if like terminator from t2. Learned to ignore protocols for he better good. So possibly he could be a good guy never the less and would be an efficient ally. But what about android 17-18. They are good people now and could be useful allies

Sure, I doubt they could reach any level comparable to that of the Gods. I also kind of like the idea of making someone a cyborg, maybe if they were in a situation where they couldn't revive someone they could make them into an Artificial Humans (or whatever race), plus it could make them stronger. An upgraded 16 would be cool too, they could just remove the hatred of Goku from his programming, but it's unfortunate that he'd never be able to keep up with the Saiyajin.

Maybe, maybe not. As it was in the Androids arc, 16 and 17 were so advanced that Bulma and Dr. Brief barely understood them enough to do what little they did. Actually improving or upgrading Dr. Gero's Androids might be beyond their capability, and if not, then it could take years of study and work.

We'll she became smarter as the series suggested. In jaco at age five or six. Figured out how to fix jacos advanced space ship and made a laser rifle that actually surprised jaco who was one of the strongest people on the planet at the time. So now she is in her mid forties and constantly creates stuff. I mean in trunks timeline she made a time machine. I am sure if she wanted she could upgrade the androids or make all the humans into androids. Imagine a cyborg sayain. Imagine the potential of someone who doesn't lose energy and can't be sensed.

Gohan got a power up after farting in his room while studying for 7 years and was then able to take on Buu. Mystic is the worst power up in the series. SSJG is more cool in my opinion.

At least Mystic was Gohan's own power. SSJG was borrowing power from 5 Super Saiyans including a fetus

I think the main problem with this is that Bulma and her father are genius when it comes to mechanical engineering- which #17 and #18 are not as they are cyborgs. It would certainly take some time for Bulma to get herself familiar with the differing technology Dr. Gero would use but she'd get there eventually.
