I must say that I am quite happy with the series filling the gap between the two movies.
Becuase, I didn't saw and probably won't saw the new film for some time, so that will be a big letdown for me, if the series started at when the last movie left.

The fanarts that have been posted are all great and/or fun. I don't see a problem. Just skip the posts if you don't like them.

I'm aware of that feature and choose not to use it because I don't think it's fair. Besides, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the conversation to stay on-topic, just like the rules state, given that there are more appropriate places to post fanart, however fun it may be, and other means to engage in chat-like conversation. It's just a big deal if it goes on for several pages and has nothing to do with the conversation at hand.

There are more than a handful of people watching this thread, It's kinda disrespectful not having that in mind, imo.

well when some real news comes along with Super I'm pretty sure the fanart uploading will go down quite a bit. Since there isn't much to talk about except on what super can bring, why BOG info when its a new series, etc.

Did Toriyama forget what this character was like or something? She was badass in the Great Saiyaman saga and against Spopovich... >_>;

If Videl character has to lose something for Gohan to gain something worth fighting for, I can't say that i disapprove the whole "damsel-in-distress"

Even Fat Buu eventually got a redesign with the Super Buu transformation.

That's not the point, you're saying a a villain a with silly fat design can't be taken seriously yet Buu showed that he should be. Fat ugly villains are much interesting than generic buff muscular ones anyway.

Speaking of Fat Boo, I'd want him to be a relevant fighter since he's in the cover... but so are Satan and Videl. Gohan looks like he'll be playing a minor role, too. Kuririn looks like he'll play a bigger role, but it's Kuririn so of course he unfortunately won't. Piccolo was featured just as much as Vegeta, so maybe this means something?
