Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing "Battle Of Gods" retold with Chaozu having more lines, and Lunch being included among the group. Other little things like that.

Be fun to see Yamcha and Chaozu against some of Freeza's soldiers, too.

Because it wasn't answered last time, I'll ask again: Why do people continue to think that "alternate universes" will contain Beerus and Whis? Like, "Oh what if in Universe 6, Whis couldn't save them in time?" Beerus and Whis are the Gods from the 7th universe. There is one and one ALONE of them. They do not exist in other universes. Well, they do, but in the forms of Champa and female Whis, etc.

I haven't seen anyone say anything like that, but I'm pretty sure they're going to travel to Universe 6 with the rest of the cast.

People have been doing it for the past few days. "What if the Battle of Gods movies take place in one universe, and this series takes place in another?"

I think that you look too much into this. In series, when Super Seiyan 2 looked like regular Super Saiyan for example and overall.

I wouldn't even begin to consider the series first few episodes as "filler". They may not be overly full of action or the overarching plot, but they can still be entertaining and properly build us up towards the start of bigger things, like the Saiyaman material at the start of the Buu Arc. If it's half as good as that, I'll be happy.

I love how in the Dragonball fandom, the term 'filler' is now interchangeable with 'no fighting'.

I remember reading a review of Battle of Gods on IGN a while back that bemoaned the Pilaf side-plot as 'filler' too.

It's an entirely new series, nothing it does IS filler because there's no manga it's basing itself off.

And I LOVE the episodes like this, DBZ had far too few glimpses into the cast's everyday lives.

Yes! That's my favourite track from BoG. As for the Cha-La Head-Cha-La song itself, I think we had enough of it, really. They should stop using it (Unless it's Konata Izumi's version).
