Hm, I wonder why SSJ3 Goku is in there with a halo. Maybe they will show how he learned to become SSJ3?

It's old artwork.

A lot of the art is old, but if it's in the book, it should have relevancy. Maybe Goku meets the person he fought in the afterlife that caused him to become SSJ3, and there is a flashback.

Screw the dub. Give us a simultaneous sub!

I think a simultaneous sub is likely going to happen first. I don't think a dub will happen until late this year or early next year. Funimation wants the dub to be perfect as possible. The simulcast has to be Super at this point. Why keep a major title hidden since I doubt there is any other major title coming out this summer as big as Super that will be licensed by Funimation.

Almost forgot he made that mistake when the BoG character models came out. You would think they would've corrected it for the Guide book. (Or maybe they kept it in there because they found it amusing!)

Anyway that's not the point, the point is that in 2 Goku's training at King Kai's planet. "10 times gravity training!" is quoted. 10 times? Wouldn't that be a joke to him now? He trained under 100 times on his way to Freeza didn't he? Or was that filler?

I think it's likely that he will go SS3 in the anime, but don't expect that kind of stuff. It's likely the only artwork they had for SS3 Goku

Firstly, no, that wasnt filler.
The thing is, like we've seen in the trailer, if Goku is gonna use huge weights the extra 10x gravity is gonna help a lot, and in that quote you mentioned it even mentions a "surprise training method". So it's probably just that the extra gravity helps with this new method.

Don't forget Kaio can make weights for Goku out of thin air, so the extra gravity and being with Kaio can be very beneficial.

Uhh.."forgetful" about what, exactly? After his trip to Namek, IIRC Goku never trained under artificial gravity anymore. I think at this point 10 or 100 don't make any difference to him. It's not like he needs to train under 100x everytime just because he did it once. Even to fight the androids, he didn't...
