We all know Manga and Anime are always weird when it comes to attractiveness.

Out of curiosity, i've noticed that Volume 1 reappeared at Amazon, but with smaller dimensions, does it look closer to manga? And, may i ask how 10th anniversary project going on? :)

DBNA is now in 'manga-sized' dimensions, so the giant sized books are now out of print.

My original plan for the 10th Anniversary Edition kind of fell through. People seem happier that I released the manga sized versions instead of the Rigor Saga compilation.

Well he did post the pages of the newest chapter before this, but you would probably have an easier time reading this on DeviantART or something where it's more organized.

The revamps aren't done, but I did start posting pages of Chapter 34 as a 'reward' for reaching 900, 000 front page views on deviant art. I post new stuff every other week and revamps in between.

Of course, my patreon viewers get the pages a week early, so they've seen the first 8 pages of chapter 34 total, but other sites only have the first four.

Is promoting financial contributions to a fan work allowed around here? Personally, I don't mind at all if Malik makes a small profit off of DBNA. It just seems like something that would be against Kanzenshuu's rules, since it still boils down to using a copyrighted work for financial gain, much like bootlegs and unauthorized streaming sites. Is this something VegetaEX tolerates because its a separate derivative work, and not a direct copy of a Dragon Ball product? I know for-profit fan comics are generally tolerated in Japan, so does Kanzenshuu simply follow those parameters? Again, I don't mind either way. I'm just legitimately curious about where the rules stand.
Favorite Movies: Alien, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, The Thing, Evil Dead, The Land Before Time
Favorite Shows: Cardcaptor Sakura, Doctor Who, Wallace and Gromit, Wakfu, Yu Yu Hakusho
Favorite Manga: Fullmetal Alchemist, Hunter x Hunter, Dragon Ball
Augenis wrote:The power level view into the series has trained a significant portion of the fan base into real life stereotypical members of the Freeza empire, where each and every individual is reduced to a floating number above their heads and any sudden changes to said number are met with shock and confusion.

When do you expect the revamps to end? I want to read the whole thing again after you are done with them. :P
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
