"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super

Maybe but Beerus is unpredictable. He has enough respect to not kill anyone, but he totally could do something obnoxious like what he did with the Z Sword.

That Kaioshin are practically powerless against Beerus. The Kaioshin are like Vince McMahon and Beerus is like Stone Cold Steve Austin. Beerus doesn't really give a shit about authority, he does whatever the hell he wants and how he wants, and everyone just kinda accepts it because it's fruitless trying to stop him.

If at anytime, Beerus feels the necessity to destroy the Kaioshin and their majestic realm, he would most likely proceed without thinking twice. Trapping Elder Kai in the sword clearly shows that the destructive feline has no respect for them.

I don't think Beerus respects the Kaioshin as people, but he respects their position, so that's why he didn't blow up the planet.supercat wrote:If at anytime, Beerus feels the necessity to destroy the Kaioshin and their majestic realm, he would most likely proceed without thinking twice. The point I was trying to make was that, if he ever felt the need to destroy them or their planet, he would have gone through with it. Beerus seems to be heavily driven by his personal desires and preferences. His high status coupled with his nearly unrivaled arrogance leads him to believe that he could do whatever he wants, whenever he wants.Draconic wrote:I don't think Beerus respects the Kaioshin as people, but he respects their position, so that's why he didn't blow up the planet.supercat wrote:If at anytime, Beerus feels the necessity to destroy the Kaioshin and their majestic realm, he would most likely proceed without thinking twice. thats not true. buu killed 4 kaioshin and nothing happened to him. yemma can just judge over beings like cell or freeza because they have no body. if they had their bodies he would be screwed.Rocketman wrote:There's probably laws for the gods independent of power, much like Yemma can pass judgment on beings far stronger powerlevel-wise than he is. Re: Does the Supreme Kai have any authority over beerus?
allthough he is refered to as kami he is not a god. he is "the guardian of earth". he is a namekian who splitt up his evil side and thats it.

"Guardian" is a dub thing. He's literally the God of Earth. Absolutely everything with anything to say about it says so.Alex9196 wrote:he is the gurdian of earth. a guy who watches over the earth and tries to protect it. he is not a god.

oh i didnt know that, i guess i was wrong about that. however i still dont see him as a god.
Re: Does the Supreme Kai have any authority over beerus?
Which is fine, but irrelevant in this specific discussion because he's literally officially a god in the Dragon Ball universe. So the example works perfectly. Gods appear to have rules among themselves, which mortals can not give a shit about if they want to/dare to.Alex9196 wrote:oh i didnt know that, i guess i was wrong about that. however i still dont see him as a god.
