Can you change your username?

Hello there, staff.

I'm going by a different online alias these days, which is Xeogran.
Since multiple accounts are not allowed, are your powers strong enough to change one's current name

I looked into this a while ago when I was hoping to simply go by Ajay, but it seems it only occurred once many years ago, and you required very strong reasoning for why it was necessary.

How'd Ajay manage to convince the admins to change his username? I've been trying several times to request to get my name changed to DBKHD, but to no avail.

I'm curious too, I've been wanting to switch mine to 'El Diabeetus' to match my YouTube and Twitter names. SSJ4 Furanki is a relic of 14 year old (joined mid 2007 if I remember correctly) me who thought it would be cool to have a SSJ4 username/Japanese sounding one (alrhough it's just my real name in an overly literal romanized form).

Going to take a chance and ask that my username be changed to "Mantis128" since it's what I use for almost everything now. I haven't used " Ringworm " in over 2 years and any place where I still have it is a place such as this one where I can't change it. Like with Furanki, it's a relic from the past that I want to leave behind. If that is too much then I ask that current name be edited to Ringworm128. The lowercase R was not intentional and has been bugging me for the last 5 years.

Personally, I would hope to change mine to just Attitude, dropping "fan" from the username. I hate the fact "fan" is in there, since it is from a time long past, and when I was not very creative

I usually try to go by just, "Attitude" when I can on the internet these days.

It would be awesome to wake up one day and have the "fan" part dropped.

Is there any way I could change my username to Coffee? I already use that name on another forum, and I would really like to start using it here as well. DoomieDoomie911 is something I came up with three-and-a-half years ago. I've changed a lot since then, and I would love to have the opportunity to have my username reflect that. I would really appreciate it!

(I'd be more than happy to permanently put something in my signature, by the way.)

I like my username (it's my new YouTube name), though I would like to shorten it to "saia people". soppa saia people is a bit to long. Not to mention the two users who I know of (Kaboom and Ajay) had their usernames changed were pretty minor (SSJ Kaboom and Ajaylikesgaming to just Kaboom and Ajay).

The OP also had their username changed, and it was pretty different too, if I remember correctly.

I'm just curious as to how staff decide whether or not to let a user change their username. Does it depend on how different the new username is, or perhaps it depends on how long the user has been a member?
