Woah, that was pretty sick. Better than anything that came out of the franchise since it's revival.

The editor did a really good job establishing an anime-style pacing for that video. Barring filler, that's likely how long that fight would go if it were In the show, and the special effects were a nice touch. Kudos.

This chapter takes place year after 21st Budokai, at this point, Kakarotto shouldn't be able to even beat Kuririn, brute strength doesn't help against experienced fighter.

Well, for all we know constantly fighting and killing humans could have toughened him up a bit. Maybe he even went through a zenkai or two along the way.

Shouldn't Kakarot have difficulty keeping his balance due to the removal of his tail?

Maybe Roshi takes pity and tries to train out Kakarot's brutality and it goes horribly wrong.

Gohan didn't. So....? I think the balance thing was because Goku was goofy AF as a kid.

Gokuu only had that problem very briefly anyway, and only the first time it was cut off. He was over it by the time he went to train at Kame House later on in the same day.

It's daylight here, so he's had at least as many hours to adapt to it. And it might not even be the first time someone removed his tail, since there are plenty of capable Earthlings in early DB.

You really want Broli to be officially on par with SSj3 Vegito?

1- Broly wasn't nearly on par with SSJ3 Vegetto. SSj3 Vegetto defeated him in one attack and it's implied/explained that it takes a blast/attack way stronger than Broly to really affect him while in his legendary state.

2- There's too much Broly-fobia in this forum. Broly, as the lengendary saiyan, logically, would have immense potential, so, in the right conditions, exactly why wouldn't he be able to fight and eventually lose against a fusion of two saiyans like Goku and Vegeta? That's what happened in the tournament, an alternate Broly had suffered and endured the right conditions to be that powerful and so he was able to fight Vegetto but was clearly surpassed and lost to Vegetto.

3- Broly isn't interesting personality-wise, but offers a nice obstacle to be surpassed as well as something of interest for the likes of Buu, so, as a fight and an obstacle in the middle of the tournament, it effectively fulfills its purpose of being a nice fight in the tournament as well as a nice detour from it, and then it's gone, which is all good.

Doesn't sound any worse than Freeza reaching SSJG levels of power with 4 months of off screen training.

SSJG-level is still weaker than 3rd form Freeza, so not really.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

The old sand-in-the-eyes tactic. Never fails. Now Goku is going full Star Platinum on him.
