I've been playing, but I'm pretty n00b. n00b as in I keep getting 2/5 and 3/5 on a bunch of levels.
I'm getting better, I've only had the game for less than 24 hours.

As you gain better fighters and Koma through out the game, going back to the earlier levels and getting 5/5 becomes a much easier task.

Wow your struggling with this one?
Well i guess a good start would be to have a fast deck but i always prefer a suped up Luffy with his powerful close attacks to catch the enemies and nick there stars before the the competition. You just have to win within 40 seconds.

It was?
I thought it was pretty easy. "Death Note" stage was hard.
Basically just kick some ass, obtain some stars, and clear the stage within 40 seconds. using the "Death Note" characters as support is a good way to do it as well.
The world is your's.

Hmmm...
At GameFAQs the English guide said "Don't get hit by Spacial Attacks". I just checked the Spanish guide and it said "Don't use Special Attacks." I'll try that out as soon as I get a change to recharge my DS.

This stage is most definitely a collect all the stars level and objective number 5 is to collect them all within 40 seconds. Fact.

It wasn't objective 5. It was the Special [i.e. "hidden"] objective. But the Spanish guide was correct, it was indeed "Don't use Special Attacks".
I just went through the whole game completing all the "Special Objectives" and I just did a 100% completion on the Story mode. I also beat the last tournament in Ranking Mode. All I really have left to do is work hard to get gems so I can unlock the remaining Koma.

I've finally earned all of the Dragonball characters. Now my goal is earning help characters that benefit them and the few stages that are left. From there I will make a few more decks and that will be my story. I'll complete the game down the line, there's no rush seeing how I haven't heard anything about a third game on the way.

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

I got the game for Christmas. So far i have only completed 4 manga levels tough i have only beaten the stages you get in the start of the levels, none of the "special" levels i keep hearing about. I'm loving the game so far tough i think i may prefer the original because of how fast-paced Super Stars was while this feels a little slow in comparison. I like the new evolution system tough i don't find it spectacular. Also, I LOVE the manga slideshows in the start of each stage! I'm looking forward to seeing the slideshow for Bobobo and Death Note in particular.
Oh, and does anybody know the requirements for getting each of the colored gems? I would love to know how i get white gems in particular as I'm really short on them.
Currently playing: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii), Jump Ultimate Stars (DS).
Currently obsessed with: Death Note, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Busou Renkin

You can play people on wi-fi,(you can get 10 white gems some 50 for red, and others) or you can play regular missions.

I am neither Goku nor Vegeta!!

A post on the Gamefaqs forums:
"Okay, after unlocking everything, and after wasting all my free time today, I went and counted up all the gems I had spent on everything
Okay, you need 71,454 Red Gems, 65,529 Green Gems, 48,034 Yellow Gems, 7,620 Blue Gems, 12,940 Pink Gems, and 14,840 White Gems.
All this totals up to around 220,417 gems total, which makes me think holy crap!!"
O.o
You can get jems by doing ranking mode. Do the locked mode on ranking mode(Which you unlock by beating the other ranking challenges above it...) and you get hundreds of gems.

It's still so ridiculously time consuming... After all, you have to complete 20 battles to get the gems... :/ Well, seems like Nintendo and Gambarion really thought out the replay value factor this time, perhaps a little too well...

I`d agree with that statement.I had just completed all of one of the ranking matches and got challenged by Naruto and lost god dammit.
Still i really can not seriously knock it because i do wanna keep at it.

Jaguar is the man.
SonGokuGT, you get new "pre-made" decks by completing the ranking mode challenges. There are about 50 pre-made decks in all, so your not just waisting your time.

I'm not sure what this means. I'm the greatest of all time; go and check the census. PM what?
As Sasuke said, you earn the pre-decks but I'd like to add you got a lot of the from ranking. I recall earning the 8-koma Naruto deck in the Death Match ranking. It makes for good practice. Does anybody know how many stages can be earned in this game? In total, I have thirty-one. Also, what's the difference between Buu's 6-komas and Kakashi's 6-komas? Is it just a space thing because their attack seem like the same nature. Same with the stronger versions of Gotenks..

I'm not sure how your working out 31 but i counted 41 including asteroid and Earth but not counting worm holes. I added 3 stages for each planet.
Maybe i`m missing something here like it might tell you in the Stats option on menu screen and i did`nt realise???
