For whoever posted the pics a few pages ago showing that this set is just a bit smaller than last time, mine doesn't suffer from that defect. I put the boxes next to one another and they are exactly the same size. For reference, they should be the same as the James Bond sets if you happen to have any of those (the box is the same).

Just checked mine, mine are of the same height. I guess the tops of the box of some bulge out a bit to give it that appearance. Both of my Dbox sets are the same size.

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

Yeah, I figured it was probably just mine. It's a tiny bit taller. I'm not even sure what unit of measurement I'd use to describe it. Anyway...

I'm glad everyone has started to get their Dragon Boxes delivered. I hope you all are enjoying them as much as I am so far.

One small thing I liked that FUNimation did was continuing the disc numbers across the sets. For example the first disc in this set is Disc 7 instead of Disc 1. A small thing I know, but it goes along with the theme that this set is just THE "Dragon Box," just split into seven parts instead of two.

Wow. I REALLY hope I can get a review copy (or a purchased copy) soon. This is amazing.

I got mine today. Everything turned out just fine and the box is the same size as the first box.

Here's a picture I took. Maybe someone can compare it if they want to.

ShadowDude112, I noticed your screenshot is in the wrong resolution. This guide is from the Dragon Box One thread:
MarcFBR wrote:My current method (I switch around a bit), is the following

Clean system, no added codecs, etc.
Drivers checked for updates.
Install CCCP (which takes care of codecs, and puts on the modern replacement for MPC, MPC-HC.)

Load up MPC-HC.
I go into settings and set it to capture to whatever folder I use.
I then set numpad0 to capture.
I then save a single image manually thru the menu as a .PNG (MPC-HC has some issues switching capture formats, doing this switches it to .PNG properly.)
Then you watch, tapping numpad0 to capture whenever you want.
When you are done, you load them all up into your image editor (instructions here are for CS3, CS4, and the Gimp.)
In your image viewer, go to to the 'Image Size' option. Set it to not 'force' the same aspect ratio, and have the resolution be 640x480. You will be able to choose a resizing filter (generally called 'resampling'.) Having tried many, I find the ones that come closest to 'viewing quality' are the following by editor:

CS4- Bicubic (sometimes labeled with a 'Best for Smooth Gradients' in parenthesis after Bicubic, so it can be easy to find.)
The Gimp- Linear (also, in The Gimp, image size is called 'Scale Image' it has a 'Cubic' filter, which may be the same as Bicubic in CS4, I haven't used the Gimp normally in a long time, so I never actually looked...)
CS3- I don't recall what it's called here actually, look at my CS4 and Gimp instructions and try and figure out what yours is.)

You generally gotta be careful, because some of the resampling filters will actually add their own noise reduction, or artificially try and sharpen the image, so you may want to play around, as the only one I've used anytime recently is CS4.

These instructions are only for if you take the caps the way I specificied, if you take a cap in VLC and it comes out at 540p incorrectly, shrinking it down with this method isn't what you want, you want to retake the caps properly.)
I hope that helps.

It's fine maybe you can grab that screen shot since I'm not so good at it.

In short (Photoshop version)

Go to Image>Image Size
In Pixel Dimension, put in 640x480 in the respective places
Then uncheck Constrain Proportions and have Resample Image with Bicubic (best for smooth gradients)

There you go.

I thought about suggesting that, but I was thrown off by the last part. The screenshots need to be taken the suggested way as well:

No they didn't; it isn't flipped at all. Look at the shading, they just used the other half of the image. Now, layout-wise, for all intents and purposes, it was flipped, but the actual artwork was not.

I got mine today. I noticed that the Dragon Book character profile for Muten Roshi lists his dream as "CENSORED with ladies".

Wasn't that in the Orange Brick's character guide?

I'm getting a PS3 this Friday, which will then become my primary DVD/Blu-Ray player.

I have to ask: How would the episodes look on it? I'm hoping the quality will be amazing upscaled.

...Yay mine was in the mail today. :P I figured it'd be here by the end of the week, because I picked economy shipping of course.

I just realized that the DVD books kinda conform to the box overtime. Before, with my copy of the first Dragon Box, the book would come out first. Now everything comes out at once. It's been sitting on it's side since I got it though, so maybe that's why. And yeah, no glue problems this time for me; maybe tomorrow though lol.

Also, I just have to point out how awesome the art choices are for this set. Vegeta blasting is awesome, but my favorite by far is the cover of the book...

because I've been wanting more Legends art for a while now.

Good lord that made me happy seeing that cover. 8) I can't wait for the next set!
