I think the fact that they said Goku curses comes under the umbrella of the more mature and improved dub they've been promoting.
I'm sure there are other ways to word that, not just "Hey guys Goku's cussing now! Isn't that cool?!" At least that's the tone I'm getting from it. It just seems really childish. And the sad thing is, is that a lot of people are actually going to buy into that one selling point.

Aslong as they treat the dub with respect they can lie and say Bulma queefs the theme song if it sells more copies for all I care. I just want a good product at the end of the day.

I do, too. I just think it's sad that they use Goku's cursing as a selling point. To be honest, the amount of cursing Goku had in part one was a little excessive. I just don't see Goku as the kind of person who would swear that much...or really at all, for that matter.

And besides....how can he ride Kinto'un with a language like that? :P

Goku's a good guy and all, but he's not a boy scout, remember his selfishness to fight strong opponents. He swears due to bad manners and crudeness in the original so I have nothing against the language he's been using in English. This is the same guy that told Bulma to her face that she looked old and that Buu's name sounded like a fart.

Haha, I wouldn't call that being mean, he was just being honest with them. He doesn't know any better :P

But then again, I guess you could say the same about his swearing...probably just heard the words from someone else and just says 'em without knowing their meaning.

Well, yeah, he doesn't really say most things to be mean, just like swearing on the battle field out of frustration. He's a naive hick that doesn't know any better when he says or does rude things.
