Fair enough, but the thing is, that's only a bad thing if you genuinely think the product is bad. I do not, that's obviously where we but heads. To me Toei would have to pull a "FUNImation styled hot-thing-of-the-moment" for me to genuinely give a fuck. Kai is just a tighter paced adaption of the manga with new music and some new voices, with the same diaoluge based on said manga.
Hardly a bastardization in any shape or form. Again, the studio politics don't matter to me unless I felt said changes negatively effected Toriyama's story in anyway. Funi negatively effected DBZ, Kai does not, imo.

Whether or not you like
Dragon Ball Kai is of no concern to the fact that the things into it
are bad things. How is this going to alter their future plans for
Dragon Ball? I sure as hell hope this doesn't mean we won't see full-on new
Dragon Ball animation for five to ten years. Considering how financially bad the current wave is doing...it's looking like that might happen, knowing Toei's usual tactics.
I could be completely wrong and Toei takes this as a sign to "do something new." Hell, it might prompt them to at least give
Heya!! Son Gokû and Friends Return a wide distribution home video release. I'd be grateful and happy if this were to come to pass.
History gives me reason to fear otherwise.

It make me wonder,Toei cant remaster show correctly{I`ll take triangle scenes over remaster ones everyday},or make some actors return to reprise their roles, yet they have money for such big names, like Aya Hirano{She`s really great actress,i love her Konata

}or that AKB48 idol group

Uh, would Toei really have to "afford" AKB48? I thought the idea was that band approaches animation studio, and says, "Hey, wanna promote our song? Here's some money, too."
