Since when has Trunks worn a pink jacket with red pants?
That live-action one at the bottom of the scan; is he there for decoration? I think I've seen something like that done with other V-Jump articles.

Anyway; thoughts on the manga: Bardock being his usual self XD ; he definitely makes for a different type of main character than Goku. Not all that wild about the character designs for people of Planet Plant. They look like they belong in a different series to me. The designs for the bad guys Bardock disposes of look alright, if a bit rehashed.

Wondering where the other saiyajin are. Is this a universe that follows the "saiyajin came to this planet in their own spaceship from another planet" storyline like the Playdia games instead of the "they were always here" of the anime/manga. Also, no Tsufurujin?

The pacing is good; it feels like they set things up in reasonable amount of space.

Short answer: It's okay, but I'm not blown away by it like I was with the Jump Tour special.
On hiatus.

It seems these guys are the original inhabitants of plant... Planteans? Maybe we'll find out that the Tsufurs are also aliens from another planet.

Or maybe the old Tsufurians designs have gone the way of the Yardratians, like how DBO came and replaced the fish-looking-alien-things with marshmallow men.

Could be but the Tsufurians were designed by Toriyama, the Yadratians were not. Also the Yadratians appeared once in a flashback whilst the Tsufurians have appeared plenty.

Yeah, but with all the different information out there about the Saiyans and their history, I wouldn't be surprised if Toriyama/Ooishi decided to just toss all of it out on the floor and pick and choose what they liked. So far, things aren't adding up with a lot of the stuff we know, granted there are still 2 chapters left to explain things, but I'm fairly inclined to believe this is yet another revision of Saiyan history.

Ipana: イパナ
Berry: ベリー
Kyabira: キャビラ
Toobi: トービ
Chilled: チルド
Ipana: イパナ = Pina(pple?) パイナ
Berry: ベリー = Berry
Kyabira: キャビラ = Can't figure out anything possibly for it.
Toobi: トービ = Beat? ビート
Chilled: チルド = Just chilled meaning cold.
My take:

Ipana (イパナ, Ipana) = pineapple (パイナップル, painappuru)
Berry (ベリー, Berii) = berry (ベリー, berii)
Cavira (キャビラ, Kyabira) = caviar (キャビ, kyabia)
Toobi (トービ, Toobi) = beet (ビート, biito) backwards
Chilled (チルド, Chirudo) = chilled (チルド, chirudo)

Chilld (sans the 'e') might also be appropriate, as chirudo is also katakana for "child".

Seem pretty good. I too also suggested caviar as a possible pun.
Child in katakana would be chairudo (チャイルド) not chirudo as it then would have to be pronounced as cheeld.

It definately looks like it's got a belly, and also like it's wearing those old style swim suits.

You sure, because Freeza and Cold had these speedos on, and Freeza got naked in his final form.
