This goes for everyone in every thread, but here specifically:
If you don't have something to post, don't post. Single-line quips, "fixed", and all that jazz is *NOT* welcome here. You are expected to contribute worthwhile posts that are respectful.

Re: New Dragon Ball series.
Okay so I didn't want to open a new topic about Dragon Ball Heroes, so here's my question, what is the size of this figure in centimetres?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Figure-Gashapon ... 411&sr=1-5
Amazon sucks at listing technical information.
I also saw Dragon Ball Heroes tiny figures with a trading card, the trading card without being in Japan is solely for collecting purpose. I'm really interested on buying it.
> http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bandai-Dragon-H ... _hu_c_3_dp
This above is Son Gokû SSJ DBH figure 5.1cm with trading card for 5 pounds plus an expensive shipping price.

The mods are potentially going to warn you for not posting something related to the topic (which should just die now), use the toy thread: http://daizex.fanboyreview.net/viewtopi ... start=1200dbboxkaifan wrote:Okay so I didn't want to open a new topic about Dragon Ball Heroes, so here's my question, what is the size of this figure in centimetres?

Re: New Dragon Ball series.
Most likely fake. I hope it's not, as I more or less have craved new, official Dragon Ball stuff (beyond Online) for the better part of ten years. But also, I wasn't born yesterday, so... the only way I'll believe this is from officially official sources.
Thanos before Thanos was cool.
Re: New Dragon Ball series.
Rumours of a new series? But AF hasn't had enough time to die yet! Considering people are still asking whether SSj5 will be in the next DBZ game.

I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!
Re: New Dragon Ball series.
Hm, a few weeks ago my twelve year old cousin offhandedly says "Have you heard of that new thing, Dragonball Hoshi?" To which I reply, "It's fake." And he's like, "But I've seen it!". And I simply repeat "It's fake.". ... And he repeats "But I've seen it." And that's the last I've heard of it.
I assume he saw one of the videos based on DB:Heroes.

Re: New Dragon Ball series.
I've had a similar case with a cousin and a sister. The thing is I have these two words that do wonders anytime they say something like that: "Show me."caejones wrote:Hm, a few weeks ago my twelve year old cousin offhandedly says "Have you heard of that new thing, Dragonball Hoshi?" Then I just show them what it actually is and explode they brains with knowledge

Re: New Dragon Ball series.
Blue Dragon (not that blue Dragon from the DBZ OP 1, for example) the anime series that had characters drawn by Akira Toriyama looked very interesting, so would this be considered a new "series" of Dragon Ball? Probably not.
But worth checking out definitely! Unfortunately, only part of the series was released on DVD, never fully. Damn.
FUNimation should pick up this series and release all episodes of it on DVD (sub/dub), don't want a horrible upscale Blu-ray release like their Fairy Tail is.

Actually, Blue Dragon DID get dubbed! Not by Funimation, though. I forget what company did dub it.dbboxkaifan wrote:Blue Dragon (not that blue Dragon from the DBZ OP 1, for example) the anime series that had characters drawn by Akira Toriyama looked very interesting, so would this be considered a new "series" of Dragon Ball? Forum quote of the moment:

DBZ bootlegs have the movie 9 cover with the pioneer movie 2 description on the back and the disc actually has a Japanese soap opera in MEPG2.

He didn't say it wasn't. He said FUNimation should release it all on DVD with the dub and subtitle options.Arique wrote:Actually, Blue Dragon DID get dubbed!

Wow.SHINOBI-03 wrote:Seriously...?!! They've gone this far?!
I was honestly surprised that no one pointed out that it's just footage from Ultimate Tenkaichi, well until I tried to comment myself that is. The guy/gal who uploaded it has set it so that they must approve of the comments before they're posted, I guess that would explain why there was no mention of it.

Re: New Dragon Ball series.
Well, at least acknowledge that it's not something minor to toss aside like it doesn't exist, but a thing that is heavily spread across the fandom to the point you can't ignore or deny it anymore. Yes, we know it's fake, but there are those who do not know yet. And that's the purpose of the guide anyway, right? To correct or confirm these rumors.VegettoEX wrote:What am I going to say, though?

Re: New Dragon Ball series.
But these aren't even substantial rumors -- these are just: (a) new production released, (2) fans confuse it for a new series, (3) repeat year after year.
It's not a singular product like "AF". It's stuff like "this year's new Kai closing credits" and "this year's new video game cut scene".

AF is not a singular product either. I know at least two fan comics based on AF and some fan-made videos based on the Budokai openings labeled as AF trailers.VegettoEX wrote:But these aren't even substantial rumors -- these are just: (a) new production released, (2) fans confuse it for a new series, (3) repeat year after year.
