My friend in London will love these! He's not as hardcore a fan as I am, which is why they'll be good for him...hell maybe I'll buy the Orange Bricks...I do miss the Faulconer music.

From London MCM Expo Comic Con: 26,000 copies of Dragon Ball Z have been sold so far. There are plans for a Limited Edition Complete Set this Christmas.
Source.

Despite all the imports, the orange bricks are selling really well. It's looking good for more Dragon Ball in the UK.

That's great to hear. That Complete set interests me. Despite importing all 9 of the US Bricks already I might be tempted to invest in this complete set depending on the price and any possible extras.

A Limited Edition of the DBZ Orange Bricks?

There's been plenty of CE/LE editions of poorly made games but an LE for this is just going over the limit. Although, if the box looks nice and is optionally sold separately then I might consider for the Dragon Box Z discs.

I expect the 'limited edition' Orange Brick complete set will probably be the complete collection Madman put out in Australia. I haven't been too fussed about Orange Bricks recently though, since I finished my Dragon Box collection :P . Glad I did buy one to support the industry though.

I'll buy the limited edition if the box looks good. :P

If it's cheap enough and looks good I might consider it. It sounds like an interesting item and I've played around with the idea of getting for orange bricks for the Faulconer track for a while. I kind of want to hold on for Levels sets though.

All the Anime have released the top anime releases for May. DBZ Season 7 was technically the best seller for May (but actually second) in the anime charts.

Also further information from Manga UK about the limited Complete Collection they want to release at the end of the year. They want to limit it to just 1,000 units. Go to 9.05 for the information on this. At 12.23 they try to explain what Dragon Ball Z is to a 12 year old.

Don't know if people should trust Manga UK at all, for example they said that Akira Steelbook Blu-ray was a Limited Edition of 10k copies and then they reproduced more. Bunch of liars.

Once again it's great to hear it's doing well here. Did the US ever get a complete series boxset release? I imagine the simple fact that it's a complete set could increase the overall sales significantly.

Just a heads up guys, MangaUK just tweeted, and it appears that Season 8 will have a different cover art to its US counterpart.

Image

Personally, I really like it. I've just messaged them asking if there's a reason it's different, so I'l edit this post if I find anything out.

They should have started doing this since "Season One" now it's a bit too late but at least there's a bit of a change. I really like this change for once.

If they called it "Part One" or "Collection One" basically anything over "Season" I'd might buy it.

If absolutely nothing about the content changed (PAL transfer from NTSC film, cropped picture, etc.)... but it said "Part" or "Collection" instead of "Season"... you'd buy it?

I don't believe it.

I like this Vegeta picture a lot more than the one on the US release.

Wow that new Season Cover art is nice. Better than the US release! It would have been cool if they did that for more of them

Anime Limited have released the UK Anime July sales. DBZ season 8 was the highest seller for the month as well as being a new release for said month. It sold over 1,200 units.

Also Amazon have the release date for season 9 as the 21st October as opposed to 16th September. I don't know if that means it's delayed or not.

I'm guessing this possible delay of Season 9 will also mean a longer wait for GT assuming they go for that next. I've been holding out for Manga to release GT so I can support their release rather than Funi's. I already imported all of Z so I feel like I've got a lot to make up for by getting GT and the movies etc...
