Re: Pictures color-corrected to fit the last manga updates

Gohan's slot, which I've been filling more and more through these last days, is now as complete as I can make it right now, with almost 40 pictures.

You should know that if there are other alternative outfits in other video games, I can't access them on my own (pictures and videos through the net tend to not be interested in showing "doppleganger" battles, so the only way is if I actually own the game or not - except for the SNES games for which it's easy to find the sprites, but I had those games anyway).

I have easy access only to:
- Super Butoden 2
- Super Butoden 3
- Hyper Dimension
- Burst Limit
- Raging Blast
- Ultimate Tenkaichi

The anime's choices were likely guided by what they found would be more appealing, or less strange, to people. So your opinion is not too surprising.
As far as Dodoria is concerned, I do find Toriyama's Kanzenban colors better, for the reason that I think it suits the concept of this character: he's supposed to be disgusting compared to the more handsome and cleaner Zabon, they are both meant to be very opposite. And in my opinion, this new color kinda conveys a little more of that "ungracious" feel than pretty pink. 8)

So, you are putting video game colors too. That's really, really awesome! BTW, you should change the topic title.

But... I'm not sure how to do that.
Should I just edit my first post and change the "subject" title and it will automatically change the title for this topic on the threads page as well?
Or is there something else I should know?

Yeah, all you have to do is edit your initial post and you should have the option on top to change the title.

UPDATE: BULMA / CHICHI / KARIN / KINTO-UN / KRILIN
CORRECTED: GINYU / SON GOKU

Thanks, guys! The title has been changed.

Corrections were made because:
- The anime picture of Ginyu was missing until now because I had mistakenly deleted it, so I had to recreate one similar.
- The anime picture of young Goku was different than the alternative one, not showing the lower part of his outfit, so I recreated a picture more similar.

To add something for contributing sake, in Hyper Dimension, Gohan dons a black/orange palette similar to manga Goten.

By the way, this thread is coming out great so far! :)

Thanks for the compliment AND for the picture (I did check out the Hyper Dimension sprites, but didn't focus my attention on the base outfit).

The suit not only has black underclothes, but a more yellowish orange tone that Goku's clearly orange gi in the same game.
You'll see the pictures magically appearing with the others in a few hours (it's already ready, but I have something to do first).
Not posting an "UPDATE" post for just this one picture, you can see it for yourself in a few hours!

Don't forget Blue Popo. x)

But seriously, great thread, very interesting, this information should probably be added to the future wiki in some way.

UPDATE: BARDACK / GOGETA / GOTENKS / KIBITOSHIN / MR. POPO

Yes, Mr. Popo comes in, I think that official alternative version rightfully deserved a place here! 8)

Pretty soon, there'll be so many versions of each characters that you'll be able to pick a "favourite" version for each one!

Yay, very good! By the way, didn't Bardock get Vegeta colours in the Raging Blast 2 DLC costumes? And vice-versa if I recall correctly.

Impossible, since that's not Toma's armor. Just similar color.

I'd argue the design is a reference.

Most likely, but still not the same.

It's been corrected. See? That's why I need you guys, you've got such a sense of details that you can correct my mistakes. 8)
Speaking of which, I'll have to check this "Toma version" for Bardack again and possibly correct the picture, because I think all of his suit is actually grey-blue, so I'll check it out and correct the red wrist if it turns out to be wrong.

I don't have the game, so I'd need a picture of that for reference to apply it if it's the same outfit. 8)
