Could Kai get ANOTHER rescore?

I want the BoG's score for the Buu saga! Magnificent!!

Maybe rather the same composer, but new tracks! To have even more magnificent tracks like those from the movie!

I can't help wondering... If the Majin Boo saga is not going to be released in Japan, doesn't it mean that we're screwed for new OST discs being available?
The soundtrack albums are released in Japan only and meant so that people watching the show and enjoying the music they've heard will want them.
I can hardly imagine that they would release a Dragon Ball Kai disc with new music and say "buy the album containing the new score you've never even heard, from the show you've never seen and you'll never see"!

This is exactly what I too am afraid of. I can't imagine them bothering to release new soundtrack CDs unless the show comes to Japan. I wish FUNi will release Blu-rays with an extra audio track which has music only.

I can't quite remember clearly any more but people who're experienced playing around with the English dub of Kai are able to remove the voices and keep music/effects? Or the other way around?

It's far more difficult to rip music pieces from a TV series even if it has a 5.1ch mix. Video games have their music files on their discs and mix them with other sounds in real time, so you can directly get clear music tracks if you've got access to the data. But when it comes to a 5.1ch mix of anime, though you can remove voices by taking away the center track, sound effects and echoes of some voices still remain because they're all mixed from the beginning. You've got a lot, a lot to do to rip clear pieces from it. It's more complicated than you think.

I have to wonder if they won't just air the Majin Boo arc in the same repeat timeslot that Dragon Ball Kai currently has. If they're composing new music for these episodes then surely they'd want to try to sell it, too.

Well, you're right maybe Toei Animation will release it as STD so they can still make money off of it in Japan.

It's NOT the Kikuchi score at least, but these videos do imply something.

I'm sure that I'm one of only 5 people in the world who thought Kikuchi's score being swapped in was a good move, so in light of this new info I gotta say I'm pretty bummed out... the only two people/things I really wanted to return for the boo saga of kai were Yuko Minaguchi and Kikuchi's score. From the look of things now neither will be returning. It's a shame too cause I was really looking forward to Boo-Kai, now not so much...
