Isn't "Mr. Buu" an official name? Or is that just a Funi-only thing?

Those names feel more confusing to me than just using Super, Kid, Thin and Fat Buu. Those are very distinctive and self explanatory.

Yes but why go with Grey Buu when he's only grey in the anime?

Also, why miss out on the simple Good / Evil scheme when it's right there?

Because it's easier and what people are used to. Also the game labels them like that so that's what we're used to. Also the good and evil scheme is simple to YOU. Pure Evil Boo and Evil Boo are pretty much the same name. Good Boo and Fat Boo are different to a degree

But regarding the split one is good and one is evil. I guess it just seems simple to me. Grey Buu doesn't make sense because he's not even grey in the manga. He's pink.

I don't go by Pure Evil Buu and Evil Buu; that's a mouthful. Good, Evil and Super is the best way imo.

It is simple. I just like the other names better. And it's not like anyone if confused about who I'm talking about when I say "Gray Buu."
Incidentally, when do we see him as pink in the manga?

I think it was a cover chapter or perhaps Kanzenban rewrite cover chapter? But yea, there is no such thing as grey Buu, at least in the manga. I would think that would be more important to be aware of on this site than others of course.

Yeah but ALL Buu's are evil. You might as well just call him Buu. Adding "evil" doesn't really show anything. It's only when you we know you mean it in relation to Good Buu that it means anything. Otherwise it would reveal nothing.

But Thin Buu, that's obvious.

Kid and Super could be considered thin. Emaciated Buu would probably be more accurate.

Evil is easy because its in relation to Good. As long as you don't go by the Pure Evil and Evil Buu stuff of course.

Evil Buu was around for like 5 panels, lol. We've already discussed him longer than he was in the actual manga.

Meh. I like how the anime pulled off that Buu being different. So...Gray Buu it is. And, as I said, it's not like anyone gets confused by it. Nobody has ever questioned me on who I was talking about. That's what I've always called the guy, so I'm gonna keep calling him that.
And Mr. Buu is an official name, and one that I'm fond of. I think "Good Buu" is too generic.

I've seen the "Evil" and "Pure Evil" terms get mixed up a LOT by different people using them to refer to different forms of Boo. That's why I prefer to stick to these original terms from the guidebooks and such. The names come from the influence or lack thereof on Boo rather than just his appearance.

I always use the official terms, and avoid using dub/fan terms. So no, I won't call Super Yi Xing Long as Omega Shenron, or Evil Boo as Super Boo just so that people can know what I'm saying, because it's like calling someone named Nick as Noki.
