Original Funi Dub
Goku vs Frieza
"I guess name calling is your only attack, because you're too weak to challenge me any other way. "
Heroic Goku inspired me to stand up against bullies!

Although I can barely stand to watch much of the original Funimation dub these days, there are a couple of bits of dialog that will forever be engrained in my memory. The first one is the one that most stands out, it is a very basic exchange, but when I was first introducing my best bro to Dragonball, this became a running gag between the two of that still lingers to this very day:
Vegeta (to Future Trunks): "You keep looking this way, what are you staring at?"
Trunks (in response): "N-nothing..it's just that..I like your shirt."
Vegeta: "Feh, You would."
That has forever been something that is said between us whenever we are talking about something that we saw, and liked, no matter what it is, cars, movies, comics, TV shows, books, anything really. That "You would" has never gotten stale, we still say it to each other from time to time. I have no idea why it is so funny, but it is our running gag, over a decade old now, that came about from watching DB together so many years ago.
I also liked an exchange between Piccolo and Gohan, where Gohan asks Piccolo why he didn't go to New Namek with his people. He states that he may one day join them, but for now he wishes to remain on earth, because the bonds between friends are sometimes stronger than blood or where someone is from. I don't remember the exact dialog, but it was a nice little something they added into the dub that seemed to fit the scene.

"Of" =/= "Have"
Contractions:
-Should have = Should've
-Could have = Could've
-Would have = Would've
The heck does "should of" even mean anyway? Think about what those two words mean individually, and then try to read them back to back in a sentence and make sense of it. Are you forming a prepositional phrase, is "should" a part of a larger grouping, or are you just typing random words based on how you think you hear them used verbally? Perhaps take a moment to contemplate this, and see if it becomes as mind jarring for you to look at as it does for me..

"Cat loves food, y-yeah yeah yeah"
"I have the power of nature inside!"
Definitely the best lines of Funimation's dub. The comedic timing for these is spot-on.

Cell's broadcast filled the earth's population with overwhelming fear.
The world had no faith in the military or the police, marginalized after years of peace. The world had no faith in its champions.
But the world had forgotten that long ago, there lived a little boy who fought the great Demon King Piccolo.
The world had forgotten the warrior who turned aside the threat of the Saiyans and Freeza.
The world had forgotten Son Goku.

"I can understand why you wouldn't like fighting... But I can't understand why you wouldn't want to kill me." - Cell
This quote is great as it emphasises how Cell is a reflection of Goku.
